I. Joining the RBG Umbra Regiment
Umbra Regiment is adopting the following Cadet Training Procedure for its troops:
1) Any new Cadet must have a meeting with the Captain and/or Lieutenant. An exam of the cadet's physical condition is required by the regiment doctor. (OOC: We should know who is being recruited to our regiments and get contact info; ICQ, email, etc.)
2) Cadets must register and attend a vigorous training schedule that commences daily at 0500. (OOC: Sparring sessions will be held one weekend a month that can be scheduled with the cadets to ensure best attendance. Sparring can be with any member of the RBG theme, under any regiment but must be a member of RBG theme, not a cadet in training.)
3) Bunks will be provided at the training facilities in Castle British and each cadet must keep their quarters in order and pass daily inspections. (OOC: Cadets will have their training at Castle British.)
4) Cadets after completing their training will be asked to engage in real encounters with the following, in this order:
Once that is complete, a cadet will be invited to the RBGU stone and placed at the rank of Private. A ceremony will be held once per quarter for the cadets that graduate from training.
II. Ranking Structure and Promotions
RBGU follows an adapted traditional military ranking structure, from highest to lowest:
Private > Specialist
You must attend a total 5 events either by EM's, other regiments, guilds, or Catskills in general and station yourself as a guard for that event, in full character, dressed in full uniform. Please be sure to garnish the permissions of those that are organizing the event to provide security. Post your screen shots (optional) and "Duty Reports" of the events you do make in full character!!
Specialist > Corporal
In addition to the tasks above that achieved your current rank. Specialists are required to have 3 "special ops" storylines/plots submitted, accepted, and coordinated with either other regiments or the EM's depending on the what the story/plot calls for. Each story/plot must be accompanied by posts and updates here or on the RBG theme site.
