Um...Needless to say....WTF!!??!

Ok so I was venturing through Doom on my Thief while I was checking on some stealable items....and....well I came across this room....

Well I've been in doom a good number of times and this is the first I'm seeing of this room.

Other then the marble colored statues that are labled as "A Miniture Figurine" that change what they are from time to time there are also 3 unique items on the table.....

the First one is an Ultima Online game board that when you click it, it turns the screen black for a brief moment and spouts out some random what nots on your screen a lot of Blah blah blah crap..... here's a snap.....

The next is a "Star Sapphire D20" that when you double click on it, it does about 20-30 dmg to you and tells you "This is not your D20 to roll!!!" Then ever now and again I guess someone named "Gary" rolls the D20 and a random Red Named Doom Creature will spawn on the pentagram....

Then there is also a "Rule Book" that when double clicked will turn the screen white briefly and spits out a random "Terms of Service" rule...

Maybe I'm just crazy or something but I've never seen this room b4! Anyone have any ideas?

I believe if I remember right that is a tribute to the head dungeon master that passed away recently. Thats all I can think of but the rest of the text I have no clue.

Aye that room was created as tribute to I believe the creator of Dungeons and Dragons who passed away a few months agon.

Ah ok, that makes sense, explains the "Gary" rolling the dice as well, Gary Gygax was the creator of D&D. It's all falling together now, thanks, it just had me a bit perplexed cause I had never seen it b4. Never thought of them doing a tribute to the D&D creator, that was cool of them.
