Um....I turned human when I died?!?

Not that I'm particularly complaining but my Faction archer was getting ganked in despise the other day and when I rezzed I couldn't help but notice that his skin wasn't quite as blue as it was when I died.

Upon rearming my gear I also noticed something strange in that I can now see his Hunter's Headdress and he no longer has elf characteristics on his paperdoll. I still have the +20 mana and I can still equip elf gear but just now I look human.

Has anyone else encountered this? I do prefer the look of human but I was in dire need of the 20 mana when I made the guy :)

Wow. Do other people see you as human too? That's what would bug me out.

I have the same issue on one of my chars too! Elf stats, but looks like a human and headgear doesn't turn into circlets/elven helms.

Non faction, PVM char.

I think it's kinda neat, so left it as it is :) Too bad the skin colour isn't drow anymore...

Edit: Other people see me as a human too.

Mine was pre P58, possibly since a year back. So this particular one isn't attributed to P58 though.

My wife left me, then the IRS did an audit, and I stubbed my toe all because of Publish 58. Not cool at all.

Yes I can still wear elf only gear and no I don't seem to be getting the JOAT bonus. The guy who killed me is also an elf who looks human if that matters.

It's wierd!!!

Haha wow I didnt even think about the dyed hair. Luckily I didn't even use a hairdye on this character. I would go try and buy one from the neon NPCs but I'm red so I don't think I can lol.

Anyways here is some pictures. I'm at work so I only have KR here, sorry :p

So far since the publish I have lost two items to bugged insurance, had my stat cap on a char drop to 700, lost a scrolled out skill (IE:went from 120 to 110 and have to eat another 20), and last but not least...I now have a char with -5 0 0 0 0 resists without armor. (edit: just had resists fixed...took 4th gm 2 minutes to fix)

Not a single GM will help with any of it, and I keep getting pushed to the knowledge database for unrelated reasons. (I have sent email to UObugs for the last bit, but for everything else I keep being told that everything is fine...there is no issues...imagine that.)

Yes I'm kind of like Blade, I get all the elf advantages and none of the weaknesses (aka no hats, ugly skin).

I kinda wanted it the other way...get JOAT, but have platinum hair/black skin like a drow... :D

This is very disturbing. I'd like to know when the Devs are going to do something to fix these problems they caused with Pub 58.

Dont know if i should post this..i may get in trouble, WTF i did it yesterday, got told how those death robes where aquired(worked btw) and it turned me into a human/elf half breed (elf hair, human clothing look)

However i tried the same technique on a few other chars to no avial...only worked on my ninja.

If he is telling the truth, you would think that there would be a way for them to verify if he lost skill points from 720 to 700 and even the 120 skill.

Its not like he lost an item that he wants back

thats quite probably the account age **** up theyve done. Its happened to many factioneers, they get dumped from factions cant go to fel blah blah blah...

Send the report and theyll verify it.

If it matters I was a ninja, I dont think I was in animal form however.

Well the only way ive seen it work, is in animal form.

I cant go into details on how it works in the forums i have submitted a bug report to uo about it so they can analyse it in detail.

However, you arent actually human you merely take on the "form" of a human (thats about the biggest hint i can give) when you die.

Wierdest part when weve done it...you dont actually die!
