Hi All,

I have recently return to UO after 4+ years. Many things have changed.
With the introduction of Artifacts/Collection Armors/Gifts

What is the ultimate equipments for a warrior character ?

Please list out your equipments or your dream equipments from head to toe (including jewelries)

Thanks

Bud, it all depends on your template.

The skills/style of warrior you chose will dictate how you build the suit.

Most suits will have 2-4 arties, and some really high end armors.

Popular items include mace and shields for hit lower defense. Conjurer's trinket is nice, but I read a few folks not liking them 20% DI with undead slayer.

Crimson cincture is a nice item for a free slot. Its an apron, can be blessed has some dex and hp regen.

lower mana cost, damage increase, 70+ resists, +stamina/mana mods etc. are important to some more then others.

There are a few items which are so much greater than what else is available for the same slot that they're worth mentioning.
Mace and shield glasses gives stat increases, VERY good resists and hit lower defense. Unless you have a great weapon with HLD, plan on using these for your ultimate suit.
The crimson cincture is the only item for the apron slot which has stat increases, and those increases are very good.
The LT guard sash [replica] gives great benifits and fits in the sash slot. As far as I know, there's nothing else that fits there.
While 2% poison resist doesn't seem like much, the snake skin boots are the most commonly available foot gear with mods.

Outside of that, there are so many ways to configure your suit for super-poweredness that it would take too long to mention them all. Just follow rwek's advice in his last line and add in defense chance increase and hit chance increase to the important mods.

My archer suit cost me less than 1 million gold to build, and fits all my needs. Included artifacts are:
Dread pirate hat (300k gold paid)
Heart of the Lion (150k gold paid)
Fey leggings (looted from Dread Horn)
Conjurer's Trinket (from a no-longer available quest)
Everything else is runic and most of it cost less than 100k. My ring and bracelet come from quests that I've done and include hit chance increase, defense chance increase, dex increase and enhance potions. The suit is lacking in lower mana costs, and if I ever get rich on that character (all my characters are self sufficient) I'll rectify that oversight.

My samurai's suit costs more than I care to admit. It has:
Mace and Shield glasses
Jackal's Collar
Heart of the Lion (chest)
Fey Leggins
Stormgrip (gloves)
Primer on arms damage removal talisman
Runic sleeves with very high poison resist (the previous items only give about 30 poison resist total) and a jewelery set that includes damage increase, defense chance increase, stats increases and more poison resist.

Good info in there farsight.

Is there a "Master List" of all Arties/Marties/Treasures of Tokuno/Library Rewards/ etc somewhere? I checked uo.stratics but I cant find more than the first 3 listed above.

Sounds like I'm well on my way.

My Sampire's Suit:

Aegis of Grace
Heart of the Lion
Jackal's Collar
Stormgrip gloves
Crimson Cincture
Royal Leggings of Ember
Runic sleeves (high Poison, Cold and Energy resists)
Meissa's Cloak (+5 Fire Resist)
Robes of the Eclipse
Snake Skin Boots
Ring of Elements (+16 to all resists except physical)
Resilient Bracer (Resist Spells +15; HP +5; HP Regen 2; DCI 10%; Physical Resist 20%)
A Primer on Arms Damage Removal -or- Conjurer's Trinket

I'm lacking in HLD. But I exceed all 70's enough so Corpse Skin or Vampire Form don't bring me below 70 in any resist.

My Archer (in training) suit is not as good.

Heart of the Lion
Fey Leggings
Dread Pirate Hat
The rest is runics.
DCI\Dex\Str\Resist Jewelry
Poison resist is only 54.. otherwise all 70's.

Is there a semi affordable set of gear that you could recommend for a Sampire in training? It seems a bad circle for someone needing to kill bosses for the gear as they can't afford to buy it, but they can't kill them without the gear.

Can you kill "minor" bosses with just marties and a few good pieces of gear to earn the cash for bigger artifacts? Any suggestions on a way to progress to the cash levels required for top end artifacts other than "Farm the hell out of White Wyrms" or something like that?

Join factions. Rank one has RBC, Kasa,Fey Leggings. And some other useful arties a few ranks up.

Or for non faction.

Heart of Lion = 150kish
Fey Leggings (elf) = 100k or less (human are more)
Quiver of Inifity = 5 DCI
Soulseeker = 150ksih (just don't fight undead)
Runic pieces to make up resists + stat increases
Leggings of Ember (fairly cheap)
Jewels with DI/Resists etc

It's fairly easy to equip a sampire w/alright gear to get you started on your way to killin mini-bosses for under 500k or so.

Thank you for everyone's feedback.

As many arties, there are as many new item property as well.

For a PvM warrior, what are some of the key item properties which would like recommended to max out or at high level (example, HCI DCI DI... )

Depends on your template. For a swordsman, I would put DCI at the top of the "must have" list. For an archer, HCI takes that place.

For me, the bare minimum for a PvM suit is this:
45% DCI (or HCI in an archer's case)
All resists over 60

With that suit and the right template and tactics, there isn't anything you couldn't do. After that, it's just tweaking based on your own experiences. I use a lot of special moves and chivalry/bushido spells, so lower mana costs and mana regeneration should be on my list somewhere. But I compromised and dropped resist magic on my template and replaced it with meditation on my archer, and I exclusively use mana leech weapons on my swordsman. Another one of my desired traits is having as much dex increase as I can find on a suit. My swordsman's suit has +30 dex, which means that I can have 120 natural dex, and still swing at the fastest speed and heal at the fastest speed.

But other people certainly think differently.
