I remember those days. I had a Roland MT-32 for music. Man we had some great graphics!

I had just upgraded my 286 with a 10M hard drive to a 386 around that time.

Also it looks like Origin trademarked the Avatar.

Martian Dreams was entertaining... This game was post Ultima VI, and occured after Savage Empire (The other Worlds of Ultima game) You travel to Mars and wind up foiling a Shadowlord plot to usurp ancient Martian technology. The Shadowlords are the ones who caused the civilization on Mars to colapse originally... Time in the Ultimaverse was rather wonky after the events of Ultima II (i.e. the Avatar coming from the 'modern era,' while the Britannia he traveled to existed somewhere in Earth's 24th to 26th centuries as evidenced by the Kirathi ship in Ultima VII...)
