Does anyone have a high-resolution version of the Hildebrandt painting? I can't seem to find one that fits modern resolutions without looking all stretched out.

(P.S. It would be nice if some of the paintings and artwork were posted to the main UO page. The developers have had a couple gems over the years, such as the High Seas and Stygian Abyss posters, but there is no place to download them as far as I can tell.)

Awhile ago someone scanned and scaled the poster to 4K and 8K. As for other art that UO has had - you can find some of it on the older sites - such as from Lord Blackthorn's Revenge, Age of Shadows, , Mondain's Legacy, Kingdom Reborn. (From the Internet Archive, which is slow - and most of these wallpapers are very old and very tiny).

they released a bunch of them a year or 2 ago in high res because people where asking, i snagged a couple myself for my desktop and such.

if i had more time id go back and look for the post about it but alas work is busy.

Right, I forgot about those - There are the 15th Anniversary ones and and this "third set" that feature Exodus (no idea about the first two). As a bonus, Stratics has some from a contest and this site has the old Stygian Abyss ones.

This picture brings so much nostalgia!! Makes me think back to the UO disc (are those even sold for games anymore?? lol) back when a dragon was one of the hardest things to kill (meanwhile I just killed a dragon yesterday with my mage in like 4 spells )
