[Fishing] Types of Fish?

First time fisherman here...

What's up with the different types of fish like the "highly peculiar fish" and "truly rare fish"? Is there some use for them I don't know about?

They give a 1-2% buff to a specific stat for about 10-15 seconds - at least 3 of them do. The 4th type acts as a minor refresh (much less than a normal refresh potion).

We've been campaigning for years to make them the equivalent of the rose of Trinsic, but to no avail.

So they're basically worthless then. A 10-15 second buff isn't worth using up lockdowns on.

At least you can eat them right away, even if not hungry. One less item to toss out of your bag.

They cannot be turned in to the Britain Library.

You will need to kill and survive sea serpents and deep sea serpents once you are above 80.0 (and fishing in deep water).
