Two Qs on Scalis

1. Discord
I do Scalis with a disco mystic and often dicord him for the group. I have no way to lore him. How much effect does a successful discord have on Scalis?
2. Greater dragon masteries
It seems to me Scalis is going down much faster since the new masteries, especially when several GDs show up. My tamer has never used the masteries. Are those using GDs seeing a significant increase in damage and durability since you started using L3 tamer masteries?

1) No clue.
2) I haven't used them too often on Scalis since he doesn't do solely physical damage (otherwise I'd just stay completely out of Scalis's range while it's running), but consume damage is pointless due to that. Next time I do one I'll test out Empowerment and Berserk & see how they do.

He seems to go down health wise much quicker and my arrows do more damage after he has been discoed.

I believe at 100 it is 20% and at 120 I want to say 40 % stats and resist for discord

2) If you're 120 Taming/120 Lore with decent mana regen and running the Consume Damage mastery... spellcasters who have pets don't have to focus full time on healing their dragon like they used to and can instead focus on casting offensive spells in addition to whatever damage the GD is putting out.

Thanks for the answers. Sounds like it's worth my effort to discord him. And it sounds like the new taming masteries are pretty significant.
