Turning vendors

Okay, so I know how to turn vendors by standing in front of them and clicking Customization, then closing the gump or clicking OK, but here's my problem:

When I try to do that by standing in front of them in the snow, they pop out off the plot and end up facing my house, not the house in front of mine. When they return to the plot, they are still facing my house. It's not very inviting for customers when the vendors face away from them

I've tried calling the vendor's name, dropping gold on them, pulling gold off them, and renaming the vendors, all to no avail.

Please help!

k, call them off the plot, then take one step back, so when you close the menu they'll turn towards you, one step south of them. Then just use the 'return vendor' option.
