Since reading of the closing of EALAND, I set out on a mission to find another place to spend my time, and money. However, unless I want to be in a fairytale land, and fight monsters and dragons, or create myself as a duck or other creature there is nothing that seems to compare with the RL image that EALAND and TSO has created. Second life seems boring, and not very warm or personable. I am saddened that the concept EA had when they created this game seems to have disappeared with dragons and mythical creatures.
I applaud EA for their dream, although it didnt seem to be truly appreciated til now.
I look forward to a day when real life concepts can be put back into an online game and appreciated.
I am saddened that making pizza will be a thing of the past (was truly a pizza addict) and that things like making jams will become something I remember my grandmother doing when I was a child.
Thank you to EVERYONE who showed true hospitality in a day where it is rare. And I applaud everyone who worked so hard to make it a fun place to be when the trials of the day got overwhelming. It reminds me of the Tv show Cheers, sometimes you wanna go where everybody knows your name.
