Well with the news of many duped rares i thought i would post and see how many TRUE SINGULAR rares i had......

Idle Hands - Nice gauntlets that create a flame strike upon double click

Oceania PVP Champion - Just a robe but its sweet!!

My picture and apron from the 2002 house deco comp

.....Thats it lol .... over 50 rares and those three are the only ones i am sure...ish....of being real.

I don't think anyone can be 100% sure, unless you've receive a unique item from an EA employee yourself.

I have some items of which I very much *doubt* they've ever been duped. But who knows..

There are still lot of items that have not been duped. However, with dupers becoming "safe and legitimate" brokers of rare items, the risk continues to increase that this list will become shorter if new exploits are uncovered.

I can say very confidently that Pratt's Exploding Flask is indeed unique and one of a kind, and he told me once again Wednesday that it would be there on MOAs auction counter when they pull the plug on the servers. Damn him! If you have never seen this item you should take a trip to GL and see it. Wed or Thurs nights would be the best cause you could get a free gate from Brit or Luna to the auction. It is not only one of a kind, but it is also an animated rare...oh so sweet.

Usually yes.

An exception was the changeling dupe. But those weren't 100% dupes.

I have alot of Chesapeake Unique Items that havent and will never be duped, sicne they'll never leave my Bank Box ever and havent for years except for a glimpse here and there, unfortunatly, that's the only way to insure their safety, and like I said on uHall, sure the dupers and seller are to blame BUT the buyers share the bigger part of the blame hence, if it wasnt for their demand, dupers would be unemployed....

You did not need to have it equipped in any manner, it only needed to be in your pack.

No offence to anyone. but this thread was pointless and dumb, this has been tried before and it really has to relevance because its impossible to tell.

for example, all the items you listed Zolo, did you obtain them all ur self Originally?? No, you didnt lol so theres absolutely no way you could ever possibly know if they were duped or not

the only way anyone could know if an item was duped or not was if They personaly originally got them and there was only One given out and they had kept it in thier bank box or something.

Otherwise, theres absolutely no way to tell whats been duped and what hasnt. so again, this thread is pointless

Some of the posters may have actually gotten the item originally. Not bought it, but acquired it themselves at the event/etc.

Besides, it shows solidarity in the community against dupers, and may encourage some to put more thought into their business dealings.

I actually have to side with Tragic, as he pointed out unless the item is unique and you recieved it personally you cant prove it was not duped. In addition, most people who are frequent visitors to this forum are well aware of what has been potentially duped and what has been left untouched. What does it really matter? Most collectors don't refrain from buying items believed to be duped, and if we did there would be nothing left to purchase.

In addition its often not the dupers you are buying the items from, so you could very well be supporting them by purchasing from someone you know well and trust implicitly and would never accuse of duping.

I'm not supporting duping, but, how does making a list of duped items actually make a difference? Yes it makes it readily apparent which items we believe to be duped, but it will not prevent anyone from buying them. It could also cause many people to have more difficulty selling items they purchased legit, and create witch hunts in the rares community.

how do you know they weren't duped? its impossible to say with 100% confidence that the owner may not have duped them in one manner or another. I'm not trying to make negative assumptions or remarks about people you are friends with, but unless you have owned the item since it was created you have no method to ascertain that your statement regarding those items are true.

It is pointless because there are between 1,000-2,000 items that are considered server births, event items, seer items, GM made items, accidental rares etc... These are scattered everywhere and some owned by owners who will never respond here or bother to come here. Currenlty other than the event item list above which is 99% accurate for their existence purpose, the rest are all up in the air. Granted those of you who have some uniques and willing to share them here thats great but to compile a full list is nearly impossible. What I can tell you is that

Orc has some

and this is not even counting the many many unqiues on Asian shards. And I am sure there are plenty more out there.
