Adventurers of Catskills!

It is time! Time to rise up and once again issue a challenge to become Ultima Online’s Treasure Hunt Champions!

Last September, the Blue Beetles battled their way to victory having won the Catskills preliminary event and then defeating Sonoma to claim the title. They followed up this impressive victory with a successful title defense against Napa Valley, before falling to a team of lucky llamas from Great Lakes.

The required time to wait has passed, so once again we are holding a preliminary competition in order to crown a shard champion (who will represent us at the Cross Shard Treasure Hunt held on TestCenter). This event is open to all of Catskills, though there is a limit to how many teams we can accommodate. Please read below for the full rules, and email us with any questions.

- Teams will consist of 2-5 members. Try and get as close to 5 as possible!
- One member of your team must be a GM Treasure Hunter with GM
Cartography and GM Lockpicking. Mining is not required but would be good
to have.
- On the day of the competition you will need to have a book ready with your
roster on the first page. Your Treasure Hunter should be listed first.
- We are limited to SIX teams for the event. Should we have more we will
work with each team and ask that any smaller ones join together.
- Individuals may show up and be placed on “free agent” teams. GM Treasure hunters are ESPECIALLY welcome to sign up individually, for obvious reasons!
- Team names and colors will be assigned at the event.

The event is a “race” competition where each team will strive to complete one of each of the six levels of treasure maps before the other teams. The winning team will have earned the right to represent Catskills.
Where: Nujel’m Chessboard, Trammel
When: Friday, February 17th
Time: 9pm EST
