Is it better deepwater fishing or it's not important for the crustaceans i can obtein?

There's no real difference I've seen, other than maybe getting a few more each time you set out traps, if you're willing to risk having traps sink.

You lose traps sometimes.

You don't have to pull a trap in after the first *bob* . You can leave them out, and you can get a second, maybe even a third *bob* and therefore have more than one crab in the trap. The risk is that you could have the trap be lost, from its bobber sinking, if you leave it out past the first *bob*.

Ok, Basara, you have told to me this thing also another time. It was very helpfull for me
I lose some traps but i can a lot of crubs and lobster .)
But now i want to know another thing. For example, i need blue crab or a rare lobster.
It is the same if i put the traps near a dock, in shallow water or is better to put the traps in deep water?
The percentual to obtein a rare crub or lobster is the same?

I lay around 30 at a time

There is one difference between deep vs. shallow water, skill gain. At higher skill levels you will want to use traps in deep water for continued skill gains.

I do 120 traps at a time. Lose about 15 or so a trip.

Do you have to be at a certain skill level to catch crabs and lobsters?

The answer to that question: Any skill level. Just be sure you're a minimum of five tiles out from the shore or deeper.
