Transfers still jacked up... ETA on fix???

Would really like to know when I will be able to log into my xfer and actually get more than a black screen??

Devs.. someone???

Got canned responses last night... live chat didnt know anything......


Started a new thread to get someones attention cause this is crap.
I know I'm not the only one waiting to hear something.

I still can't login on my char i transfered either.
Was hoping server down would fix it, but i guess that didn't work.
Makes me nervous since i'm transfering other peoples rares also, i don't want to have to replace 500 mil in rares ugh

I'm waiting til I hear something about this being fixed before I move stuff. Luckly the LS rares Fest isn't for another couple weeks..

I was able to transfer on Sunday and had no issues. Lucky I guess...

I did two xfer's yesterday and only got lucky on one. The second one is the one not allowing me to log in.

I'm not getting a black screen anymore tho... now when I log in, the sign in page stays on my screen, but I can see my stats at the bottom of the screen (says my dex has changed) and I hear the music of whatever town it is that I'm in.

Yesterday I only saw this once.. now its constant... maybe they are in the process of trying to fix it?

I put in a bug report yesterday and when I paged a Gm last night I got an email back saying.... we are aware of the problem and are working on it, but cannot provide an ETA for a fix... if you have any other info about the problem click blah blah link.

anger level with this problem is sitting at a 9 on a scale of 10

well... im gonna keep posting to keep the tread bumped....

i dont trust crap the GMs say... most of them dont know anything about UO anyway.....

Besides, we have 2 Devs currently in UHall reading misc posts..... why cant we get an answer from them about when this cluster **** will be fixed?

lol i have to agree..... seriously? there are numerous reasons for people to xfer.... for me its because I decided to play my home shard only and had some things left on Chessy that needed to come back.....

Either way it doesnt matter why we xfer...... they said it would be down.... it came back up and apparently something is screwy since they took it down and now ppl have chars, items, gold, etc hanging in limbo with no word from anyone as to when it will be fixed.

its in the works they are just trying to finish up with the ins and fel/tram fade over bugs first.

ETA? haha... That's wishful thinking! This is the only company who reports anything (Usually useless BS) only 4 or 5 times a month to there active consumer.

Hell I work 8-9 hours a day and I have a few minutes every few days to post some double meaning sideways insult on these forums. Not really sure what there problem is since there job is focused on an online game. (which means they probably all have online access) and with all the different ways to get online now a days where ever you go. I really don't know how they don't take the initiative to look at the MAIN site where people help them do there job with constructive criticism and use this knowledge to their advantage. It really baffles me.

finally fixed and to be honest, I wish I would've remember to check my chars desktop folders to begin with... I could've fixed this myself 2 1/2 days ago. Guess thats just one of the things you forget about when you havent played in awhile =/

Good to hear you made it. If the have to unpack items within 7 days or lose them requirement was not an issue stress level would have been considerably less. As far as the character folders I have not had those issues before and the one transferred has previous trips to that shard. Something to keep in mind when transferring for sure.

I did 2 more transfers last night, and they both worked perfectly.

If anyone has this issue send a email to ea or Mesanna, with the account name, char name, and shard name. (Ea will never ask for your password, so never send that to anyone).
