If your wanting another chars name to show as the owner of the house then the only way I know of doing that is to transfer the house to another account (make sure the other account doesn't have a house already or it will start to decay), and then transfer the house back to the char you want listed as the owner. You can always name the house with your chars name, so that it will read something like house owner: Wild Bill, and under that you can have the house named House of Adora. When you mark a rune from inside of the house it will have the name of the house on the rune, so in this case it would be House of Adora.
As mentioned above, every char on that account is the owner of that house and the person who placed or took control of the house will be listed as the "owner" of the house on the sign no matter what happens to that char (ie deleted or transferred to another shard).
