Transfer Grizzled Mare?

I can't seem to find any info on whether a grizzled mare, once claimed, can be transferred to another character. I seem to have some recollection that attempting to transfer a grizzled mare causes it to be un-bondable, or maybe that it will instantly go wild if you try to transfer it?

Just can't seem to remember or find any info. I figure someone must have some experience on this, so can anyone help me out? Can I transfer it safely?
