Trammel Yew Guard Zone Expansion

The tram yew guard zone seems to have expanded to match the fel yew guard zone in the last publish, specifically the guard zone expanded in to the region around the yew courthouse. This change represents an expansion of yew guard zone limits (in trammel) beyond where the limits were prior to pub 55.

My house is now listed as improperly placed and when I recall/login I receive a message that I am under the protection of the guards. When I placed my house this location was legal (and not related to the pub 55 exploit listed in the stickie)

Does this mean I need to move, is my house in danger of poofing?

or is this a new bug?

***Note this is not related to the Pub 55 bug as houses were placeable here long before the accidental removal of the town guard zones***

Improperly placed simply means that if you take it down, for whatever reason, you will not be able to re-place it.

It is actually fairly common. If you have a house in front of a 'classic' house and that owner converts to a customizable plot chances are you will go improper. Since house placement is based off 5 steps from the front steps, and 'classic' houses have a small front step footprint you can actually place a house diagonally from a 'classic' house that you couldn't place in front of a customizable plot.

Thanks for that. I figured it was buried somewhere in the forum and my search query just wasn't using the right terms.

Good to know.
