Why are there no leaves on your trees? I not ask because I have an issue that happens only on my Mage. Randomly I get the entering fell noise and the leaves vanish from the trees, yet I'm in Tram. Is there a setting to shut the leaf graphic off?

Yes, there is. Go to user settings > under World/Environment, uncheck "show foliage".
