Training stealth....

at zero skill don't you need skill bonus jewelry to train it on Siege? Ive trained it on my other toon but I cant remember how the heck I did it since its been so long.. can anyone help? no clothes skilled jewelry right?

No clothes, no jewelry, gain some hiding first. Push the button next to the stealth skill to get it going.

The problem with that guide for siege is it says from 0-40 to buy skill. Which you can't do. With 0 Skill you will NEVER gain even .1 if you just hide and attempt to walk. I found this out the very frustrating way when trying to train on siege and after getting my hide to 30 points and attempting to walk didnt gain at all until someone in GC advised: With zero skill you have to manually click the skill icon (EC) or button? (cc) to gain. Spent a very frustrating 30 mins wondering why I wasn't gaining. No other way to do it and it is not mentioned in the guide.

I used ninja form (rat or rabbit) it gives +20 stealth, and You can buy Bulgar's bandana +10 stealth (it's cheap)...

Actually it says

Buy skill from Ryuichi The Ninjitsu Instructor in the Ninjitsu Dojo in New Haven*

which if you then follow to the * below it gives the information I quoted above.

I wrote that guide, it was copied from 'Petra's Pages' I know how to train on Siege, I've done it.

So it does, I stand corrected, although at the time i think i used the guide on uoguide hence the confusion, that guide doesn't give the addtitional info.

when I wrote my pages I knew about Siege training, and therefore quite naturally included it. Looking at the uoguide page it seems to pre-date the introduction of New Haven, since it advises buying 0 - 30 from the Thief Guildmaster.
