[Ninjitsu] Training Ninjitsu over 85.... ?

Past 85 the suggestion to train Ninjitsu is with Death Strike.

Question is, for a good while most are misses since the level is too close to the minimum 85 skill.

Yes, using jewellery one could raise the skill to a level where the misses are less likely but the higher the skill, the less likely one can gain......

So, which is more important ? Increase the level with jewellery so as to reduce the misses but then reducing the likeliness of a gain OR bear with the misses but not raise the level with jewellery so as to make gains more likely ?

Thanks.

Skill gain sweet spot is usually around 30-70%, if you're out of that range then it's a waste of time really. By that logic it would make sense to raise your ninjitsu to 95 or so and practice for a while. This is probably obvious but don't forget to train on a char with as much meditation, focus, MR, and LMC you can pack on them! Lich form and shadow wisp are always helpful too. When I train a skill I usually do it on a specialized toon to maximize the gain rate, lol..

This. All very good points. Also, having the least amount of skill points on your template as possible when initially training ninjitsu helps.
