How does one do this on siege? The most basic skills all require 25 skill minimum, yet siege NpCs won't train players and I'm red to boot.

Is the only option really to make a throwaway account with 50 bushido to green soulstone on my main? I don't have any greens only reds... Please help a samurai!!!

You need to either start the character with 25 or more skill in Bushido, or use jewelry combination totalling 25 points to begin training.

Fortunately, imbuing makes it easy to get 25 skill on a bracelet and ring.

Saul, you'll need some bushido jewelry. Give me a few and I'll put some sets on Margrette's armor vendor in NE Zento.

Edited to add: Check the Suits and Hats vendor. I put out three pairs with +13 bushido on each piece.

I totally forgot you can use jewelry to get skill! Thanks Tina I'll nab those when I get home tonight!

i had that same problem some years ago when i played a litle on sieg
that was before imbuing so the only option i had was to delete the character and start a new one

i do think biggest reason not more people play sieg is that 1 char per acc rule at least for me it was

my expirience on sieg only lasted 2months ;((

I agree man.... One char is just plain dumb these days. For a shard that is short on people you would think the "gods" would do little things like adding 1 char slot to help promote SP. What difference does an extra char slot make compared to 1 char with 10 soul stones? None.

Makes a difference to vets like me that invested Millions into soul stones. And since I've have one char to deal with the last 8 or so years I believe its your turn to do the same. Since SS's are soooo easy in your opinion I suggest you buy up 10 or so at 9.95 apiece like the rest of us and keep on truckin. And one main difference is the guy being forced to use one main char repeatedly, and not logging onto there "grief" character no one knows is you. Pay more like the rest of us one way or another. (And for that matter all the crying over a 7th char slot in barneyland).

To imply that people will come more often based on 2 chars, when most cry about losing a GM piece of armor and log off never to be seen again, is a pitiful shot at justification. Barneyland people cannot hang with the idea that sometimes you die and lose your stuff.

More char slots on siege is another :stretcher: idea.

Either pay 80 bux for 8 SS or pay for another account. I really have no idea why SP is so low pop. Its those old ideal`s and the unwillingness of the "vets" to open their minds, that is what keeps SP in the same stale state. I don`t care either way.... I`ll play my new thrower and have fun. I`m still playing here....but if you really want ppl here.... mindsets have to change. Just my 2 cents....

I am pretty new to seige and so far the biggest pain in the ass is the one character slot. I don't imagine me getting soul stones, I am not paying real life money for them and you can't actually get them, you have to buy them. So I imagine I will grow bored of siege soon. My character isn't even halfway done but I've spent a long time on it, and frankly I don't want to play that character exclusivly. It's nice when I want a challenging experience but when that wears off an hour later I grow bored and leave. Why would someone want to spend so much time on just one character? I like to switch things up and to invest that much money and/or time into purchasing soulstones inorder to play a new temp...it seems silly to me. Give me 2 or 3 character slots and I would be happy, one for a crafter, one for a mage and one for a warrior.

Red soulstones are a first year veteran reward pick so if you stick with it a little while, you can get several.

Yeah, when they turn vet rewards back on I can claim up to 2 red soul stones, but I think my point remains valid.. I can use my vet rewards to change one to two skills. If I want to swap lets say wrestling for swords I could put wrestling on a soulstone.. but what if I want to be a wrestler again.. I have to have a extra stone to hold swords. I understand it's meant to be a challenge but if I want to craft that means I need a lot of stones to hold skills and to change them around with. If they gave another character slot then everyone has a mule/crafter and a fighter character. Idk, I have never been one that enjoys relying on others for goods and services, when possible I like to make it myself.

A bunch of friends and I started playing siege recently and it is hard to ask someone to make a crafter, perhaps you can make decent money on it, but most crafters will not be strong enough to avoid a pk or take down a monster, go to the spawn etc etc. So for us it just doesn't make sense for someone to make a crafter and later on down the road work to get enough soul stones to switch to a more combat orientated build. But how do you get around the fact that you do need a crafter to make the armor and weapons we will undoubtedly loose? I guess my point is 2 character slots would've been fantastic. Eventually we may get to a point where we have 10-15 soul stones but right now we will just rely on other people to make us armor and weapons and hope that we can make enough gold to replace what we loose. So far this has worked out well.

Personally, I think this was the intent of the 1 character limit on the shard. It makes people interact more and I believe it is why Siege has such a tight knit community compared to other shards. :)

Thats what i love about siege. We have some dedicated crafters here , let them have your gold. Its good for the community. While it would be nice to have every possible skill at different levels on soulstones, its much more fun to learn to live with the limitations.
Also lots of mature people here. I can only guess, but i think if you ask for a nice guildwar or pvp without looting, you can have that too.
