[Discussion] trading between classic and enhanced clients

I am wondering how to trade between these two clients. I tried once and I could not see the item. I will be trading Halloween Masks soon so I would like to see them in the trade window.

I tried to search the forums but could not find anything. Thanks.

I use EC and trade regurarly.

The only thing I always do is bag my gold.
Otherwise 2d users won't be able to see all the checks.

Not yet have I heard anyone complain about this before.

I had given someone a mask and when I dropped it on them (I was at a bank so I could not simply put it on the ground and have him pick it up.) I could not see it. I clicked off the trade window and tried again. I still did not see it but clicked ok and they said "Thanks!", so I know they got it.

I guess I will try the bag. How does that work? Do you put the item in the bag and then drop it on the person? Can I open the bag once it's on the trade window?

First of all, it has never happened to me that I didn't actually see an item in EC.

Secondly, yes, you can put items in bags and then open the bag while it is in a trade window. So yes, you can drop it on them like any usual trade.
