(Question) Tracking on Siege

is tracking working as intended on Siege Perilous?

I have gm tracking and I can rarely track anyone. I know elves and stealthers are harder to track. However I can track my guildmate who is a human and has 120 stealth but I couldn't track my other guildmate who only has 80 stealth and is human! I tried about 30 times before I gave up.

Was he in human form at the time you tracked ? You probably already know this but lots of stealthers are also ninjas, and probably in some animal form, which could be under either animal or monster in the tracking menu, something the devs should fix, a player is still a player, even when they're in a form.

I think this might have been the problem then!!! thank you for your advice!

Didn't know that could mess up Trackers, I've just been using the JoaT Rat & Bunny animal forms for an extra 20 Stealth when going after my body where Bad Things play. I'll have to start doing those occasional high value item bank visits as a Rat.

It would be too easy then, and a lot less fun. Tracking is fine as it is now.

Track for monsters.

The ninjitsu tiger form and shadow mastery spell also makes it harder to track folks, and to because revealed when spells are used.
