Eyes of Sosaria

A while back, I was in a conversation, trying to gather news to report, when the subject of having a very unique meeting take place. What was that idea? To have, for the first time in a while or for the the first time ever, a "Summit Meeting" of *ALL Mayors* consisting in the World of Sosaria, on Chessy.
Ever since the death of Queen Dawn and the fall of the Monarchy, no leaders have been brought together in a Summit style meeting. These meetings, sometimes futile, sometimes beneficial, brought the "Heads of State" together under a common bond. Reguardless of what anyone thought about the Monarchy's Summit Meetings, I got to really thinking about how cool andd great it would be to have at least 2 , maybe 3 Heads of State meetings and have them take place at the old *Summit Room* at the Castle. This room has been vacant since the fall and would be a perfect place to meet. Could have the EM's possibly lock down a book representing each mayor of each town in Sosaria.
Now, if you think about it, each township, maybe combined with another, hold events, want to hold events, or something in that manner. Sometimes they would like to hold events but don't have the resources, people, area, or what ever the case may be.
If all Mayors were to meet and get together, they could come up with plans, as a group, for various events for the well being of all citizens of Sosaria. When a lot of heads are put together, you'd be surprised at the ideas that might flow across the table. Events could be very wide ranging, form picnics to hunts, from fishing expiditions to sea battles, from large community yardsales to the largest auction in the history of Sosaria. The ideas could be endless. (But would take a "Summit Meeting" like this to talk about, plan, co-ordinate, etc., such plans. Thgere are alot of GM tailors, carpenters, etc, that could make stuff for these events, combined efforts could raise money for township projects, big prize money, stuff like that.
So what I would like to do is to find out if an interest like this would be out there and possible. The first meeting, for example, could be like on Wednesday's like the old days, say 8 PM or 9 PM, maybe starting the 2nd of November for winter time planning, maybe another in febuary or March for Spring events, another maybe in May for summer events. (That could all be agreed at possibly the first meeting).
So what i would like to do is have those that read stratics and are Mayors, have influence on Mayor's, know the Mayor of your town and can talk to him/her, and really get a feeling on this idea.
We are a player run game, player run world, and the players control its out come. It would be kind of nice to see all the Mayors meet and come up with some of the fantastic ideas they have or have had and want to expand on them. I have had the privalege of meeting alot of great township Mayors, and they have been really Great. And they have had alot of super events or ideas for some. It would be nice to have all Mayors meet and exchange their ideas and make the game even more fun then what it is.
So a feed back from those interested or not are asked to leave youur comment on this thread, please.
Thank you from a reporter who cares about people and their ideas.
