ToT III on TC?

Does anyone know if you can obtain the new ToT minors on TC? I would love to be able to test the dye colors before I decide whether to keep them or turn them in.

Just try it out on your home shard before the server maintence.
As i undestood it, you can do whatever you want when you get the "server is going down in 2 mins" message because everything you did within those 2 minutes will be reverted back..

I understand your English perfectly and appreciate your suggestion. Now if anyone can tell me the time I should try this on LS? That's always been my problem with this method, even after playing on LS for 12 years, I have no idea what time the server goes down.

Foolio listed the "posted time", but it does vary a little... wait for that time, then wait for the "2 min warning" message and dye away!

(unless i'm remembering wrong) - it's something like "the server is going down in 2 minutes, find a safe place to log" - and then when it stops saving there are a couple of more "server is going down" msgs (i remembered i always judged it by the generic 'server is going down' msgs as that was the cut off point)

Its been my experience that nothing is saved after the second warning message.

Yup, recall home when the 2 mins warning comes up. Then wait for the "Servers are going down shortly" before you start testing. If you want to be doubly safe, the first time, do something safe first, like recharge your bag of sending, smith an item etc etc.

Log back in to confirm it wasn't saved. If everything works smoothly (ie your bos wasn't recharged) then do your dye test the next day.

LS goes down at 6AM EST, not 5 AM. And do NOT trust the "server is going down in 2 minutes" message. I might go down in 5 minutes, or ten minutes... but never in 2 minutes. Occasionally it reverts to before the message, but rarely. I play every morning before server save.

The servers have trouble with Daylight Savings Time... it takes a week or so for them to catch up with the time change in spring and fall. But it is 6AM, not 5AM as shown in the EA Help system.

So, I would not recommend testing anything in the server-going-down time that you don't want to lose.

Thanks to everyone for the replies and the suggestions! I doubt I am going to get up that early and sit and wait and hope I get it done in the right time frame just to find out what a one use dye is going to look like. Would be so much easier if they added them to TC. But oh well . . .

I just hit UOGuide pages for something else and noticed on the home page are pictured of platemail tunic dyed with the new TOT dyes, if that helps.
