Top SDI items for PvM?

I know some of you are experts on this matter and I would like to get a list of what to use/look for. I would like to pound out as much damage as I can with my spells on mobs. Thanks in advance.

My char on Atlantic has the follow items:

Wizard's Crystal Reading Glasses 15 SDI
Pendant of the Magi 5 SDI
Spell Woven Britches 10 SDI Elf only
Midnight Bracers 10 SDI
Scrappers 25 SDI or invasion spellbook with 30 SDI
Crystaline Ring 20 SDI
Bracelet 12 SDI

Thats 97 SDI with Scrappers and 102 with invasion spell book. I think SDI is capped at 100.

There is the Greymist gloves and tunic that have 2 SDI each, but I wear the stichers or Armour of Fortune for LRC or Rune Beetle Carapace for LMC and regen.

The problem is the resists are pretty low.

SDI has no cap in PvM other than what the max per item allows.

Yeah if you go all out the resists on your suit are usually not great.

Where did you get this info for repond? I thought if anything there would be no damage increase to the repond monster, but an increase in damage to you from repond monsters.

Using the opposing slayer gives 50%, though this may just be for weapons thinking about it. You also take 50% more damage.

Wrong, using opposing slayer (like a undead slayer spellbook on a repond monster) do NOT give you extra SDI (how the hell you came up with the 50% sdi bonus against opposing slayer group), and you do NOT takes 50% more damage, you actually take double.

Because it works that way with weapons. You know like those bows with Demon/Air Ele that people use for doom. The Elemental part is doing 50%. If you've checked and it doesn't work like that with books fair enough.

That means it does half damage to repons(7.5% SDI) and you recieve double damage!

That goes the same on all weapons!!!

Test it, get a soulseeker and a normal radiant, hit a zombie with the raidant then hit with the soul seeker. You will do half the damage.

Evil omen does do an extra 25% but only for the very next spell.

Also on that, arcane empowerment offers i believe its 25%SDI for its duration.

And reaper form is also i believe around the same SDI

I tested it, and it did the same damage with either. Actually I tested Undead talisman switched for normal primer vs ogres/trolls so that the weapon DI was the same, and the hits were pretty much the same with either.

So I assumed it was normal that opposing slayer did 50%.

I just re-checked my information and it appears i was slightly wrong.

There is no mention of doing less damage to the opposing slayer just that the opponent will do double damage on you. So there is no damage increase or decrease using an opposing slayer.

I suddenly have a crazy though about putting on undead slayer talisman and use a undead slayer weapon and to get hit by an Ogre Lord, I wonder how much damage I would take.

The ultimate "weapon" for a mage would be a super slayer scrapper's... Just imagine the FS damage 8)

I use reptile scrapper, and dragon scrapper. the two alone, seem to have huge damage differences on dragons.. all i tested.
