Toontown Times March
Toon Parties is coming to Toontown soon, and we want to make sure you are all ready for this Toontastically exciting release! Players will be able to host parties, both public and private, in a special area reserved just for Toon Parties. There are many super-cool party activities and decorations to rent, so start saving those jellybeans!
In fact, Captain Melville, the king of the seven seas and proprietor of Melville's Massive Mizzenmast Mart, has graciously offered to host his Annual Fishing Tournament to provide Toons with a great way to earn jellybeans! Toons can compete all day on Saturday, March 21, and Sunday, March 22, by rod -- twig, bamboo, wood, steel, and gold -- to catch the most fish in a 24-hour period starting at 12 AM PT each day. Earn jellybeans galore, and a chance at a prize -- the top three Toons in each category, each day will win a Disney "Pinocchio" 70th Anniversary Platinum Edition DVD! So fish your hearts out, save those jellybeans, and get ready to party -- Toon style!
An open apology to the Toons of Toontown for the ridiculous letter, claiming to be from "The Cogs" and asking for the disuse of your so-called "gags." It is not proper etiquette for Cogs to ask this of Toons, being locked in this unfortunate "disagreement," and such. We suspect an overzealous Pencil Pusher to be the culprit, and the Toons of Toontown can rest assured that this individual will be dealt with in the most appropriate manner deserving his stature within the Cog Nation.
Warmest Regards,
The Cogs
Dear Toontown,
Is it possible to change Gag Tracks?
Owen
Dear Owen,
While all Toons start with two Gag Tracks - Throw and Squirt - they can train up to four other tracks. To answer your question, it is not possible to change a Gag Track once you have started training that gag, so be sure to choose your gag training carefully. If you aren't sure which gags to train in, you should talk to other Toons that already have the gags you're thinking about to see how they use them.
When you are ready to train a new gag, you are given a choice between two options. The order of gag training options is as follows:
Choice 1: Sound or Toon-Up
Choice 2: Drop or Lure
Choice 3: Trap and (Sound or Toon-Up)
Choice 4: Whatever is left
Finally, here a few training choice tips -- Toon-Up is great for Cog buildings and Cog HQs. Everyone needs a Toon-up when taking on the biggest and most dangerous Cogs in Toontown! Also, Sound is a great Gag Track to train -- why use a single-hit gag on one Cog, when you can hit them all with a Toontastic Sound gag!
