Wow, very nice. I'd never have the patience to pull off all those hedges!
I love the overall structure...it has me thinking of doing something similar for my next redesign! May I copy you a bit? (The hedges are all yours, i just want the floor plan!)

Black and white hedge seeds?!? Oh my GOOSES! I'll have to pay someone to do that quest over and over and over for me. muahahaHaha thats awesome. Are you aware that thru the naturalist seed quest it is possible to get black and white hedges? How cool would a black hedge house be!!!

That had to be the longest house deco project I've done. It took I would say, 3 months. I did not work hard on it every day tho. I would collect and ID about 50 seeds then plant and grow them. So for a while it was only half way done, and looked very funny. I am starting a new batch of small hedges for the roof today. I am goning to put a fountain, and a little hedge maze on the roof.
Black hedges....Hmmm. I think I will also start that today. That seems like it will take much, much longer than the orignal project! Look for the black hedge house in about a year lololol!

Heheheh Chea House! I like it. Im not sure if it would be possible to get all the tiles tho. You cant walk thru hedges so how would I place the last one?

EDIT: Duh! Now that I thought about it, all I need to do is build a "scaffold" of sorts to get the last hedge into place.

Just an FYI, you do the naturalist quest for the four solen egg nests plus the fifth one you plant in a sandy are (I do vesper beach, but any sandy area really), and study that fifth nest. When you turn in the quest you can get a white seed, black seed, or fire orange seed.
The black and white can only give the new types of plants, the fire can only give the old types. I usually toss the fire or see if it's one of the few fire sellers since people have pretty much had their fill of fire colored legacy plants hehe.
However even if you don't need the white or black of the new plants there is a demand for them, so I'd recommend growing them and selling them if you want some spare money. Whites go fast at 25k per (I'd do more for things like hedges and hops and flowery plants, anything that normally sells better as a plain colored plant). Black ones I was doing at 5k per or so, but I was stockpiling any that I really liked and thought I could eventually use.
If you don't want to bother growing them at least sell the ID'd seeds and get some money that way. I'd probably do a mixed bag of 10 whites for 100k and a mixed bag of 10 blacks for 20k, or somewhere in that ballpark. This is Baja which is cheap so adjust prices accordingly.
Another thing you might want to try is trading seeds for other seeds, if there is someone else going for something (say white hedges or hops or whatever) you can double your chances by trading. The quest its self takes 5 minutes to do, but if you want one specific plant of one specific color you would have to do the quest 20 times to get it. So at 100 minutes per hedge...yeah, I would try to trade, and get other people in on it.

just curious but how do u tell what seed is what before u plant? or do u have to grow them first?
I killed lots of wisps to get seeds. Grew them to get the peculiar poppies. The poppies give poppies dust, which can be used to ID seeds.
