Since next week is Christmas I will post if I will be able to do a readings. Not sure if we will have out of town guests then.

Tell me what you think of Siege Perilous the book?
I think it's one of the best in game lore books and a fine tribute to the shard. I also think that only siege is in the castle is a metaphor for the fond memories of the King on how UO was designed. It is a world more realistic than the rest. I think about the core ruleset; one character and living or programmed life take up space, stealing and killing are all integrated. The shard represents how it was and how the King wanted it to be.
Could Siege be the core of all the shards since it is most like the original?

It's apparent that Siege holds a special place in the Kings heart. I could see it as perhaps the one shard to hold true to the King's values... But what do I know? Perhaps it is the original....

Btw... Who actually wrote Siege Perilous by “The Stranger” ?

The stranger is the avatar (the human Male paper-doll).
I have heard many stories of how Brit was the creator of the game and use to play UO. I have heard many reasons for his departure from the game all of them sounds more like speculation than fact. I dont' know for sure, when UO came out there wasn't any internet connection where i lived. UO was 2 yrs old by the time my area got 56k... HAHAHA...
