Toggle Scale Mode

I asked this in "Resources", but there's not a lot of traffic over there. Is there a trick to getting this to work? I click on the "toggle scale mode" and my journal says "scale mode enabled." But mousing over, say, a treasure map and using the mouse wheel doesn't seem to do anything.

Think the scale mode only works on gumps, you should be able to resize em by hovering a none interactive area of a gump, and scroll, and scale that way.

im not sure I follow. Where on a t-map should I hover?

It works fine on pinco, i use it on my thunter... Devs can enable this, but could be unfair for 2d users

I use Pincos and I use my mouse wheel to adjust the scale on maps. I just hover anywhere on the map and scroll. Make sure it is set to mouse wheel in the settings and it should work just fine unless it is a very recent change. If you have it set to adjust the transparency, then it automatically turns off scaling.

Make sure "it" is set... what is "it?" I have under settings / input this:


I've also tried it with both setting set to "none".

I put an "alpha" icon and "toggle scale icon" on my hotbar,


The alpha "transparency" mode is disabled, and the scale mode is enabled:


I hover over a treasure map, roll the mouse wheel back and forth, and.... nothing happens.

Is there another setting I'm overlooking?

Nope, it should work unless something has changed recently. Try posting on Pincos site maybe?

yeah, but it doesn't work when i unload pinco's, either
