That means that there are a few things happening today...

The auction begins at 5pm est and runs to 7pm est, gates and runes will be provided, there is also a rune locked down on the steps of my house.

The winning raffle tickets will be drawn today at 715pm est

So if you plan to attend the auction or enter the raffle please make sure you get your rune which will be available at my house on ATL shortly and grab your tickets prior to 7pm (they will be available at the auction house after 5pm est).

Oh, and that survey!

Please only respond to the survey questions if you actually attended the festival.

Did you enjoy the festival?
Yes/No

Would you like to see the festival repeated on some sort of annual basis
(quarterly, bi-yearly, yearly)
Yes/No

Thanks!

aye thats something we've been considering, but wether it would be between the most populated shards only, or all shards is something that we would have to determine.

The problem being is that if we rotate to many different shards we have to find housing there to hold both the vendors, the auction and the game, which can potentially mean up to 3 houses, in addition to other factors which would have to be taken into consideration

As suggested, shard rotation would be nice, too.

The festival was great. I hope everyone enjoyed it as much as I did. It allowed me to get rid of most of my items.

I would like to see the festival be held Bi-yearly and rotate on shards. To even out the cost of transfers for everyone.

I wished more people attended or at least showed up to say hi. But it was a great turnout still.

All in all, I made close to 845m for the week. Which also included me buying 3 boat pieces.

got my tickets, will be at auction and
*sniff!* for last day

I've had a grand time shopping another shard, checking out house deco (and stealing ideas
)

a big thank you to the organizers of this event for pulling it together and making it happen ~~~ a few spits and sputters, but this was the learning part, right?

to the second question.. lots of nice stuff at this festival, and one concern might be that held too often would lead to .... how shall I put this..... uhh, less than nice stuff? that sound good? twice a year would be my vote

as to shard rotation, yes, conditional: firm commitments from players on those shards of donations of houses and/or services ~~~ as to which shards I'm not certain population matters all that much since traders will go pretty much anywhere, but it is nice to have many shops to browse while the festival is going on

the festival was freakin awesome IMO lol, it got all of the rare collectors, Dealers, New Commers, etc etc all in 1 spot and allowed us to trade items, buy new items, and sell our old stuff for mostly max profits lol. i dont think it could have been any better, i would have liked to seen more participation from other ppl, Orc, Manti, and Nail, i know they made an appearance but we didnt really get to see them much, maybe next time they can come and set up vends and hang around a lil while hehe

Every 3 months would be more than fair and fun IMO, it gives ppl more than enough time to get some gold back etc

and the Shard Rotation is something that i believe is in the works but like DVI said, finding a house etc etc is the hard part, and going to smaller shards where population and attendance is unlikely will be a tough decision

im fairly sure that LS will be next tho

If the next shard is going to be EU (third biggest shard, plus a lot of customers), I'm more than willing to provide 3 houses and all necessary things.
There's also some pretty nice museums on EU that deserve some attention (Darsus!).

Hi there,

Did you enjoy the festival?
Yes I did even if I couldnt do as much as I wanted to.Damn work

Would you like to see the festival repeated on some sort of annual basis
(quarterly, bi-yearly, yearly)
Quarterly for the win.

Shards to hold the event is ofcourse hard to decide but the main thing is that the host(s) have enough plots.
How many was from Atlantic?

Maybe it doesnt matter that much if its not one of the biggest shards that host it.

Europa should be host in a near future even if seems that most people agree on LS to be the next one.

What other shards are big if I may ask?
GL?
Chessy?

We have reasons behind potentially avoiding smaller shards which are important to successfully running the event.

As to eventually holding one on Europa its a possibility, but we would most likely avoid using the house of a europa player as it could create scheduling conflicts.

Somehow that came out wrong.

If I dont have the ability to control all aspects of the house then I can't very well run the event.

=p

plus i need to be able to provide secure storage for myself as well as other individuals involved in the running of the event.

but please everyone simply provide the feedback im looking for and nothing else.

While I appreciate the interest in shards this may be held on and the length of time between each occurence I'm only looking to see if people enjoyed the event itself and would like to see it occur again.

Just use the 5 most populated shards or so. Micro manage with other trusted rares dealers that you have consulted with. You can also use free trial accounts to hold houses with.

My current plan was to focus on the most populated shards as it brings in more buisness for everyone, and I have relationships with various groups on those shards to assist in advertising and operations

I didn't get to participate as much as I would have liked, but I did have a blast shopping/meeting people while I've been on. I would love to see it held twice a year rotated among the most populated shards.

Had a blast, enjoyed it very much, thank you!

Would love to attend, every 6 months, or perhaps quarterly. Shard selection, wont matter.

Yes the festival was a neat idea...made some people even richer too!! but on the whole it was something differnt and new and it would be good for maybe a bi-annual event or quartly event (no way monthy)....

But passed around the MOST POPULATED shards like the world cup!!!

And iam sure if u would find it dificult to host on the 3rd biggest shard EU, then maybe some of the bigger europa collectors can host it for u or themselves....

Sorry 'bout that. Each time I rolled a number I had to check it against the unsold books to make sure the number had sold. And a couple of them (mainly my Tabard) had quite a few books left.

Did you enjoy the festival?
Yes. I missed most of the earlier events, but that's more my fault than anything. My only complaint was that it was hard to find out information about what was taking place where and when. I'd like to see more posted information on scheduled events in the future as I am not on atlantic primarily or in the "in crowd" with most of the brokers.

Yes - bi-yearly would suffice quite nicely with somewhat of a rotation among shards.

All in all a very admirable and enjoyable first rares festival.

While there were some slight deviations from it the itinerary for the entire event was posted as far in advance as 2 weeks prior to the actual start of the festival.

The location of the events was kept secret except for the vendor location which I posted at least a week prior to the start that vendor spots were open, only a handful of individuals took advantage of the offer before the start.
