I love your establishment, I frequent it a lot. But I foresee a point in the future where I will no longer visit because of your vending practices. That is, when I buy you out of something (ie your messages in a bottle, iron bod's, green special nets.. etc) the next time you restock, you raise the price, some times by a sizable amount.

As an example, a few months ago, I bought all your MIB's that were priced at 55k per. The next time I visited, they were restocked at 65k per. I knew I could find them cheaper, but I was already there, so I bought them. 2 days later I go back they were restocked at 75k. And have been there at that price ever since. (I can only assume that if someone were to buy them, they would be restocked at 85k per.)

I prefer your shop because everything is in one place, but I have already begun to shop at other vendors for many items (the three I listed above just off the top of my head). Again, I like your shop, but it will soon be off my list of places to go, because I cant justify paying 75k per MIB, when I can get them at many other places for 50k or lower. Again, I WANT to spend my money at your shop... but you are making it impossible for me to do so.

Unfortunately you have stumbled into a suppply & demand market that is not going your way. Though, in the shopkeepers defense, it could possibly be coincidence that the prices are increasing... If you take all the merchandise and the shop is left empty, then there is nothing for the merchant to see what the previous price was. Archangel's is huge, if it is still like it was a few years ago, I would venture that the merchant does not remember what the prices are all on merchandise. Maybe if you leave one item left over, prices will remain more stable.

I don't know though, it's just an idea. As I said earlier, you might just be sitting on the wrong end of a supply & demand curve.

But that's the point, it's not supply and demand. It's very easy to find these items much cheaper on other vendors. I'm just trying to give a vendor owner that I like to frequent a warning that they are pricing themselves out of customers.

The law of Supply & Demand is whats going on here. The goods are selling completely out that quickly so clearly the price is on the low side. The vendor raising the price until sales start to slow a bit will tell him what a good price for both buyer & seller is.

As long has the goods are selling at a decent rate, others having lower prices isn't really a concern. If the Archangel Mall is the one I think it is, it's a place you can go and find anything you want without browsing through half of the vendors in Luna. That time-saving is well worth a moderately higher price.

I've got someone buying 10k of Nightshade a day off a vendor I have in Luna. I must have sold over a half million Nightshade so far in the last couple of months. I could likely raise the price a fair bit and it would still sell. In fact I might. Spending a day from breakfast to midnight running the npc vendors every few weeks to restock just Nightshade is a hassle.
