Obama was right about one thing. We have the most transparent elected officials in history.
To bad that wasn't his intent.

When i first heard about the NSA and there reading all our Emails and such. I really thought it would be a bad thing. I still do though, it seemed to have backfired on those that created it.

You missed a lot.
Human trafficking(stealing and selling children some for pedophilia (Clinton foundation when Hillary was in charge)):

"intent" wasn't the issue. It's really very simple.
Assume you're a criminal and you are paying the judge salary and have the ability to fire him then replace him.
Will that judge prosecute you? Of course not. He couldn't even if he wanted to.

The FBI is required to take their investigation to the DoJ for prosecution.
If people associated with the DoJ are the ones being prosecuted it makes no sense to take it to them.

This is a major flaw in our constitution that needs to be amended.
It's simple really. If anyone is associated with the DoJ in anyway the case should be transferred to the US supreme court.

Modern times and internet era suffer from huge inflation in status and value of information. Everybody who shouts loud enough or writes well enough will find his audience with ease. There are no demands for integrity that were almost integral, a given, in golden era of high prestige printing press.Exciting people matters more than telling the truth.

Crack pot tier doomsayers ( Alex Jones) and almost as bad news services that do outrage and entertainment before facts or news (fox news) create image of world where everything outside the relevant echo chamber is Satan Reborn. Net-browsing people are barraged with garbage article after another, demented radio shows day after day. Truth, fact checking, actual journalism doesn't matter as much as how odd, exciting or interesting something sounds. Day after another, some fat jerk screams to his microphone how this person and that is the worst enemy of the people ever. Everybody living inside the relevant echo chamber will believe it soon enough. Hell, they want to believe it.

Once you've learned person Y is worst thing ever,it becomes easy to believe every single awful thing of him you ever read, no matter the source. That's when people really begin sucking and digesting the bottom layers of internet's sewer. So you have Alex Jones declaring and Fox News implying how Clinton is traitor to the nation. You go deeper. You search and find obscure web holes sleazy and immoral enough to produce verion of truth you wanted to see all along; You read some demented drivel about how Clinton worships satan, or does kiddy porn or whatver. Then when even the most biased of the actual major legit news sites won't even SPIT in the general direction of which ever demented fever dream of a conspiracy theory you've found, it gradually turns into sign of the legit news channels being untrustworthy or corrupt. I mean, clearly they " hide the truth"?? Why else would they not have headlines about how CLinton is a satan worshipping alien from Mars? And there you go, perfect circle is complete; now the only " news" you feel you can " trust in" are ones sucked from the absolute sewer pipe of the net.

I mean, listen to yourself. Based on last half a dozen garbage-tier articles you've read, Hillary Clinton is baby stealing, satan worshipping sex orgy having pedophile Just. listen to yourself. Good grief, lol.

Too many have become completely jaded. Utterly unable to separate news, information or investigative journalism from utter sewage. People can't handle the wealth of content in internet; There is on-going failure to separate news and investigative journalism from pure filth and drivel. Net has infinite amount of information.

I miss the glory days of printed media. If somebody is writing for [Name of any old, legit prestigious newspaper of wide circulation here], it is basically career of his/her lifetime. It means you are likely an actual journalist who has, at least, learned about journalist ethic. You make SURE that what you write checks out. You make SURE that news you are breaking can be verified or at least explained, justified. If you don't, your career might be done. Meanwhile, in modern times, some ****zo in his underwear, sitting by his basement computer is perfectly free to say or come up with - anything- they please. Why not? Nothing to lose. It's not like Internet fires you if you post bs. Quite the opposite actually.

This development is extremely dangerous, It fertilizes the soil for populist 'politicians' to grow out of. Just appeal to peoples nightmare vision, have your campaign awaken the same low instincts Alex Jones and whomnot have been nurturing.

The old days of media were far worse in my opinion.

Example:
Look at Walter Cronkite his reporting of the Tet offensive. The North Vietnamese after the offensive they thought they lost. Russians later told us that they were finished. The war was over in 1968 until they heard Walter Cronkite report on the event. Walter Cronkite greatly exaggerated the extent of damage the North did to the south.

No media source is perfect. But what we had was disgusting. Look at what the media and polls did to lie about Trump even in this election. How much of that did you buy into?

With all three branches going red, I'm excited to see what true Republican values are. No longer can they pander, they will actually have to implement. Also who will care about emails in a month when they don't count as campaign points :]

Obamacare gone, abortion restricted, foreign relations could go either way, double the tax return next year if I still have a job.

What i expect from Trump:
Obamacare will be gone or gutted. No stupid wars. getting along with Russia and China. Weakening NAFTA.

I also expect the Republican party will look for a way to impeach him. Remember he isn't part of their establishment.

I don't believe we will have to worry about impeachment with Donald Trump as President.

1. He honestly cares about the country.
2. People he will appoint will be highly qualified.
3. He does know how to work with people. He has done that quite successfully for most of his life.
4. As things improve in the country with the changes he will initiate, most people will get on board.

In any case, that's just my opinion.

Time will only tell. I see the establishment as extremely resentful of him.
They love the corruption.

BUT I hear the FBI is working over time on a huge case. We will see if they do drain the swamp.

Yes, he certainly had a lot of opposition from the establishment. Fortunately, the Republicans now appear to be removing the barbed wire from the fences they erected during the campaign. *crosses fingers*

As you say, time will tell. However, I feel much more positive about the future now that we know there isn't going to be a Clinton in the White House. That is the best first step in the process of draining that swamp. It's pretty deep. :)

You been keeping up? Seems he's looking at not so much draining the swamp, but swapping out the Muck. His short lists for Administrative positions are filled with Big Business guru's and Lobbyists, you know the same folks that have been screwing over the middle class for decades.

Just off the top of my head, six of the people Trump is considering for his cabinet are Mike Huckabee, Sarah Palin, Chris Christie, Newt Gingrich, Rick Scott and Rudy Giuliani.

Does that not scream Big Business and "more of the same" to you?

He has apparently decided to exclusively pick people who are already quite well known and not really for good reasons to fill his cabinet positions. Nearly the entire list of who he is considering is just a who's who of the Republicans from the Bush era.

It's going to be a bit hard to "drain the swamp" when he is picking the swamp monsters themselves to be his cabinet.

Huckabee has always been against the corrupted establishment.
Clearly Palin has a fear of them. They threw her under the bus
Gingrich was back stabbed a number of times by the corrupted establishment.
Rick Scott was Scott walkers campaign manager whom was in a consent fight against the corruption.
Giuliani I'm not sure. never a supporter of him. But I'm not sure his connections. He did seem to brake from them a great deal with regard to Islam (which a lot of the GOP money is from)

Maybe you don't know the difference between the establishment GOP vs those on the out side?

Look up Huckabee's connections to Josh Druggar.
Plain used State Money to setup a private legal defense fund in Alaska to fend off Ethics Violation accusations, turns out doing so was in itself an ethics violation.
Gingrich was squeezed out of the GOP limelight due to his numerous extra-marital affairs and ethics violations, which he was fined $300,000 for, while in office.
Rick Scott was heading up Columbia Hospital Corporation at one point, during his tenure at the helm they were defrauding insurers and patients giving doctors kickbacks to assist in doing so, they were fined $1.7 Billion by the DOJ.
After Giuliani left office as Mayor of NYC,it came to light he was billing the expenses he incurred having his own extra-marital affair to various city offices, as well as the cost of his year 2000 re-election campaign, and his then wife's travel expenses.

Josh Duggar no doubt a creepy kid (molested girls when he was 15 yo) that did work for Huckabee when he was older Which Huckabee dropped when they found out. I don't see an ethic problem here with Huckabee. Vetting problem if there was evidence before hand. which I don't know.

Gingrich "ethic violation" as you called it was a retaliation against him filling charges against other members of congress.
He claimed a collage course was tax exempt. He paid it back with no fine. Which doesn't technically qualify as violation.

This is a classic example right here. You have someone attempting to weed out corruption in government they throw crap at him in retaliation and blow it up to be more then it is. The guy trying to do the right thing and the corrupted people make him the bad guy. Details are key to understanding the issue.

Pick something that has clear ethic problems or corruption issue

come on.
