To Folks Whose Holidays Aren't Joyous

As we approach the holidays, I anticipate the advent of many traditional celebratory threads on Stratics forums. I will preemptively join them in wishing everyone a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year.

At the same time, I recognize that the holidays are not always joyous occasions. For many folks, the holidays are a time to reminisce lost friends or loved ones. For others, the holidays are a solemn reminder of relational disharmony. To those folks, I want to extend my condolences during these difficult times. Although your Stratics or in-game families can never replace your true family, we care about you nonetheless.

although i don't have any lost ones, i never really enjoyed the holidays. i dont know why since my entire family loves it. i might enjoy it more if i got a xmas tree, but haven't had one in the last 13 years (besides the fake 2ft one from walmart).

its always good to see others in the holiday spirit though. merry christmas and have a happy new year to you too!
