Tip how to Retrieve Items under a house

"First have a friend come into the house and log out on a placed teleporter next to/ on top of the item under the house. have your friend log in while you are in customize mode and they should be able to grab the item."

Not sure if this was posted anywheres here: found it in UHall. A useful trick!

Doesn't Shift Ctrl work for that? Just Shift Ctrl then either grab the nametag that comes up or use a deco tool on the nametag to raise the item. I have to do this all the time when stuff falls under steps.

That doesn't work for items that fall under the floor tiles of the house, unfortunately.
