Time is short - Vote for Aurelius!!!!

Aurelius was playing UO long before I started some 11 years ago and I have known him for most of that time so I make no apologies for this post , I have an axe to grind.

In all that time he has always been a help to others, and his involvement since its inception in the Newbie enclave at Brit Bank is no surprise. He has admirably filled the role of Governor since he was elected last time. The Trade deal was always available to all citizens of Britain and do we not remember that he set up the crates at his office where players bones could be deposited and maybe found by their owners during that event.

In conversations I have had he has talked about things he would like to do for Britain and all are aimed at making the game more enjoyable for others. Everything he does and has done is inspired by his love of the game and directed to extending its appeal to others. Some of these would have necessarily involved an EM and as we did not have one he could not implement these until that situation changed. Now it has he should be given the chance.

Another candidate talks about a vote for him being a vote for change, I say what the hell for? . We already have an excellent Governor, any change may not always be for the better.

So if you are a citizen of Britain and are uncommitted decide now and vote for Aurelius. You cannot do better.

Ill tell you why because its not a life time position that's why. And I actually like Aurelius a lot. Which is why I simply campaigned by telling about myself and my own plans. Without ever saying anything negative about either of the other candidates. If Aurelius wins again I would have no prob with that. Just thought I'd give it a shot at taking a turn myself. And I need no EM involvement to make cool things happen never have. I just make em happen. Which was my whole point about we are only limited by our own creativity.

I only respond to this thread as I was mentioned in the post. If not a vote for change why bother voting in the first place right? Of Course I would do some things different. Is that not the whole reason the voting exists? To get others ideas an perspective when it is Their turn to be gov? Otherwise why not just pick some char to do it for life....That would show me the whole things a waste of time an not worth bothering with imo. But yes I wish the best of luck to both my competitors in the race. I just cared enough to campaign.

My post is simply my opinion, every candidate has the right to canvass for votes and whilst I do not know the other candidates I know of no negatives regarding them, on the other hand I do know Aurelius and know of only positives. Long enough to know his attributes and worthiness to fill the role. I posted to tell those who do not know him that if he is elected they will not be disappointed.

I am sure whoever wins they will do an admirable job. I am pleased in many ways that others care enough to offer themselves it demonstrates that the community spirit of UO still lives and breathes strongly.

At least Britain have more than one person who run for it...and this is just nice as it show more and more love for the town.
