[Throwing] Tile 1 Hit Chance Penalties?

I understand that high dex removes some of the to hit penalties. & as long as you dont use a shield you do not suffer penalties to your defense for being in melee ranged. All swords doese is reduce your to hit penality.

Is it possable to overcome the hit penality with High Dex, & Lighting Strike? Doesent seem like combing HCI with LS has any higher chance to hit that LS by itself.

The lower hits chance is a percentage reduction of your Hit Chance not a simple subtraction.

Only way to remove that in melee range is get swordsmanship ~120

But you can reduce the penality pretty effictively though without swords,

4. Penalty reduction for having high str/dex now ranges from 0-90%. So at 140 str and dex, you negate 90% of the penalty to damage and hit chance. (Was 50%)

So would having both LS & 45% HCI help or is it over kill?

Then again unless Para you wouldn`t have anything to worry about. & this is PvM character so it might not be to bad.
