I have seen so many people continue to battle, Die and get a rez from others that are willing to stand ready and willing with bandages and spells - then see these people jump right back into the frey, not just to reclaim their corpse items, but to do battle over and over again.

I've done it myself as well. It still amazes me that so many 'names' that I recognize will sacrifice FAME for HONOR - These are true Heros. - not out to make a fortune but to make willing contributions in a hard fought battle.

I Salute you all, Heros of Chesapeake and of ~Moonglow~!

Yes, a big thumbs up!


I've been entering the Rift to assist with healing and curing, taking a break outside to vet. I've see the community here on Chesapeake come together to help each other in a major way, and it's certainly been refreshing!

If the events of the Mag event were actually at a time we all could play...I totally missed the big ending on the Tram side, but was there to finish it on the Fel side. X and SHE/SHOT, healing each other, getting it done. Reds, blues.

Anyway, I hope the events of this moonglow thing stay around 9pm ish, so a lot of people can be involved.

I agree. The 9PM timeslot seems to be pretty good, actually. At least at my house, we've probably already had dinner or a snack, I've finished whatever housework I couldn't get done before work that day, and I'm usually into my free time by then. Also not so late that I can't get some sleep either.

Great post and well felt point.

About a year ago I made a similar post on the guilds forum boards. I don’t remember it verbatim so I’m going to paraphrase here.

The people you look up in this guild the ones that do things you find heroic can be you if you want them to be. In this universe that we play in we each have an opportunity to be extraordinary and the fear of loss is minimal in comparison to the real world.

Remember those things that make your heroes in this game great to you; remember those qualities that you find extraordinary; strive for greatness; and one day you will be the hero some other guild mate is watching in awe.
