Threads of Thought

How do I get the Forsaken to drop them? The quest says I must use "Magic". How vague......do I spirit speak to them (that doesn't seem to affect them) or do I just blast them (seems not to work either~200 kills later and no thread of thoughts).

What am I doing wrong here?

The red ones you kill

The yellow ones that stand still you use Spirit speak

The ones that move you use exorcism(necro)

They're ghosts wandering the ruins of Magincia. (See above link)

"Where do I find them?"
Magincia.

"Where I get the quest?"
From the mage by the Magincia moongate. But be warned, once you exit the gate onto Magincia island, you can't use it to get back off, and the gate area is usually overrun with red spirits that will attack and kill you pretty quickly if you're not prepared.

OOOOHHHHH thats what they were.. I recalled into the middle of what used to be Magincia with my mage while marking city rune books for my other characters. Honestly I didn't hang around long enough to see names, I just saw red spirits, started cursing and trying to recall to the next spot. Oh yeah I also had my wife looking over my shoulder laughing at me the whole time too.

That's how you get only certain pieces of rubble. Other ones like the plants, building chunks, the fallen log on my roof, etc. were from the actual invasion event. Buildings were being destroyed by demons, and the resulting rubble was lootable. But the rubble you get from the quests has a few nice pieces. The dishing stump, pile of logs, and rope with pulley on it were cool. The rest of the pieces I got I sold.
