Hello,
Just recently I decided that my straight chiv dexxer was outdated, or in the very least, I feel he needs something more. I am technically an rp-pvper, so i do PVM and PVP, but being what the character is... he is geared towards the latter of the two.
So, being that the character has always been the devoted warrior type, I recently changed his template to something along these lines:
fencing 120
tactics 90
parry 120
Bush 120
chiv 80
resist 120
med 70
Essentially, he was straight chiv before with anat/healing/ and 4/6 chiv...so for this build i just swapped anat and heal for parry and bush, and then adjusted some numbers from there.
So far I am liking it and doing well, but I dislike that all my healing aside from pots is mana based. While I have played and pvped for a long time, I've only recently started to research dps in much closer detail. So this leads me to a few questions:
1) Would I be better off getting rid of something to put anat and healing back on the template? Both damage wise and healing wise would this be the correct thing to do? And if so, how would I do this? The only skills I could see getting away with dropping would be resist or chiv, neither of which I am crazy about losing. I could drop med a bit, but my mana already feels slower than I'd like.
2) Does the damage and the ability to heal that i would get from anatomy and healing outweigh using the combination of divine/conc/ and LS as I do now? is the damage that much more significant or more or less the same?
And..
3) Are most bush dexxers not running resist? It feels like a crime to not use resist (even though I know you can item your way through without it)...but when I add the numbers up, 120'ing everything appropriately...I just don't see how you could fit it (if you are using healing, that is).
Any answers or template suggestions you all might have for me would be appreciated.
Thanks much.
