There is an Elemental Slayer "Flute of Renewal" from ToT
Yes, but you need to be VERY careful with those, or you will break it. They only "renew" 1 charge every 5 min, so it is too easy to run it to zero and not realize it.

I know there are some Flutes of renewal out there, but they no longer spawn in game. But even then, 300 charges goes pretty quick with the fail rate on level 5. Unless I have missed something since I came back about 18 months ago, there are no drops for the super slayer elemental currently spawning in game. So while a blood/poison/air... etc might work for those, short of the flute of renewal there isn't a slayer instrument for the unbound ev or the chaos ev.
We also have some fey slayer weapons and a fey slayer spellbook, I think its about time that bards got a fey slayer.
I would seem to me that shouldnt be too terribly much programer time since the base item and the slayer properties already exist ingame, its just a matter of putting them together.
Thorr's Drum? Sounds pretty good to me. However I'm still waitin' on me bloody bagpipes! I mean we got Kilts but NO bagpipes! Bagpipes that when played correctly play a little bit of Scotland the Brave!

I would like to see bard instruments imbueable with slayers.This imbuing would limit the charges to 300.
I was thinking of the Thorvalds Medallion that we have in UO.
had to look up that item because i've never seen it before, but it looks from the images that the name isn't Thor Vald, but Thorvald. Either way though who is thorvald?!?!? He may have been around in the ultima games but I honestly dont remember him. Maybe use mandrake, since the time of his appearence makes sense with the abyss and gargoyles anyways
There was mention of another ToT next year early. They just need to add Fey to the list of flutes.
There was - but it didn't come from any of the developers. I'm not entirely sure where this information orginated from.
It came from Mesanna on Atlantic about 1-2 weeks ago. But I read it as a "Yea good idea, maybe" type of thing.
so - did she say it was happening, or did someone ask her and 'maybe' was her reply? Those are two very different things.
wow i was thinking of this the other day haha although (Elemental & Arachnid) slayer was what i was thinking of, but fey would be nice too and maybe a tambourine.
Thorr's Tamborine just didn't quite have the same ring to it as Thorr's Drum *snickers*

Aaah! Ok, thanks Tazar. I saw a memorial to Gwenno in a spot where lich lords spawn in T2A but I'm not sure where it was...
always wondered why the runic saws dont craft slayer instruments.
Maybe one of the next dungeon revamps could involve some way of acquiring a artifact Fey slayer instrument and/or double slayer instrument?
