Northern Arizona and we don't observe daylight savings so I'm always confused about what time it is elsewhere in the country.

I'm in Memphis as everyone knows, I hope you can all find my reponse smothered in all of these UK/European responses../sarcasm. By the way, the point of my original post was, I know approximately 5 people that play Siege and do NOT live in the US. So far only 1 of them has responded to either thread.

Do those folks who live in lands where real castles exist use another game forum instead of Stratics?

That's the excuse that will be used, "not everyone reads stratics"..I call bollucks on that one, anyone who's everyone has already alerted those that matter by icq, they could come here and reply if they wanted, but they know the truth.
Doesn't matter if it with or without sauce, it is a legitimate concern and question. I have noticed that in all of the screenshots posted over the years it is pretty much the same group of people in every one of them. Absent from all those screenies are the vast majority of American players. So either we are such a small number of the player base (Which does not seem to be the case) or A certain group of people are being catered to event in and event out.

I think I interact with more Euro players on Siege than N. Americans. But, that's because I work nights and play in the day...mostly. Siege is an eastern US server. Log on during the different timezone peaks hours and you'll generally find that more are on during peak American hours. Events should certainly focus around that timezone and nearby ones. With that said; throw the Euros a bone once in a while with events and governor meets that suit their time. There are plenty of them here and they're cool peoples.

I play or rather am present, all day long and until I go to bed.. and I never really see a difference between foreign and state side players. Seems pretty balanced until after 10pm PST.. then it just gets really quiet period.

I have no idea how many US players there are here as most of them first login, when I go to bed. So with Garth Logic, we are a lot more EU players than US players.
Before Mugen was made, it was a little more balanced. The JP players was on, when I got home from work and started to drop off for bed as more EU players got on. Then when the US players sharted to get home from work, the EU players started to drop off for bed with the Pacific ones dropping off just before the JP players started to get on again. There are others on the other side of the earth, I only see in the weekends.
EM's do have a life too and should not turn upside down their sleep, work and play times. For all the years I have played on Siege, most EM events had been past my bedtime and I gave up on most of them. Now for first time, we seem to have a EU based EM or I believe he is and I have to admit, I'm very happy. Maybe it's fair, that for a while is the US players time to take a day from work if they really want to go to an EM event.
When no EU players post in this thread, it could be the attitude, that we EU players are second rangs Siege players and it is ok, if we can't be there to an EM event as long the time fit US Siege players as they seem to be more worth than us from EU.
Siege is not an US shard, even when placed on the east coast, it is a EU and US shard as Mugen is not a choice for us as our connection to there is very bad and we do not speak Japaneses.
Europa and Drachenfells too, are not a choice as it is Trammel shards and we can't stand playing there.
If Garth feel, we the EU players can just play on a EU server, if we want to attent EM events, I will say, that may could for Garth too, if EM events mean more than the ruleset of the shard, there are lots of US servers with US based EM's, so go do your event there. However, I believe the ruleset do matter to most of us so lets try to make it work for us all without forcing our great EM to make events, when he need to sleep to be ready for work next day or skip work to be able to do it.
Also we can't just let a Trammel US shard EM make EM events for us in US time as they do not understand the community we have here.
It will never work for all, even when we all pay the same a month and have same right to be able to attent EM events.

- We have an EM, who do way more for the shard than an EM ever had done before on Siege
But sure, Garth can't attent all his events, so lets complain and get an US based EM, as long he can place the EM events so Garth can attent them as US players are VIP players and matter more than everything else.

You do not know and we do not have to prove anything to you. How do you thinks Bennu's times for EM events did work for EU players? Week days in the middle of the night. I can tell, it did not work at all.

You sure did read a lot into my post in Kelmos thread
. This isn't about "Garth can't participate in this or that", this is about "Why have the last 3 EMs set up a timeframe that a vast majority of employed US players can't attend because they're still at work". I honestly expected 20 or 30 EU people that have stratics accounts, and I know there are at least that many, to reply to my original thread and set me straight. I was sincere when I said I would shut up about it, and no one did, other than the 2 or 3 that I expected to because I know for a fact that they play Siege regularly. Anyway, we can stop talking about this now , I'm ok with that.
