this is stupid. LAG

the lag is horrid and been this way for over a week. i ping better to west coast servers and i live in florida. hell i am even faster on europa. good thing i pay to play this. i might be time to cancel my accounts.

Im sure you arent the only one. The amazing thing is that EA havent even acknowledged on the official UO website that the problem exists. There will be many many players who do not use stratics who have checked the UO site to see why they havent been able to pl;ay for the last week or so and ... nothing. zip. I'm sure there are many accounts being cancelled.

But so what. EA dont give a double whopper with cheese. Im sure UO can afford to lose subs cant it?

Hey everyone, we didn't give up on clearing up the latency issues but some of them are out of our control.

There are some internet outages throughout the country this morning and this is probably what is causing the lag that only some of you are facing. Your connections are being re-routed through different hubs and that is increasing the latency to connect to your shard.

These things usually clear up quick enough. *Crosses her fingers*

People like you ****ing annoying the **** out of me.. If you had even the slightest knowledge of anything in general, and knew how to read a traceroute, you'd clearly see IT IS NOT OUR ISP'S, that was mearly the only thing she could think of, and as it pans out some people belived it *points at you*


I ping a constant all the way through my trace, until it hits fert08(Ea Servers) than it magically jumps from 24-160% and i lose 50% of my packets, but since you belived the crap from Joanne, i'm sure this have no relavance to you.


And furthur more, all she said was "this morning", so sure maybe there was an outage, but at any rate lag that has been consistant for the past 3 weeks does not happen from an internet outage 3 weeks in the future...... Believe me, theres something here going on, wheither it's been changed in the server configurations by accident or on purpose, something has definatly been changed.

I made the following reply to Joanne...And I shall paste it to you as well.

Umm....You are aware that this issue has been going on considerably prior to yesterday morning, and that trace routes show the problem at your end, right?

And that if it were a general Internet outage, we'd probably be experiencing Internet lag other than UO?
