I would say its okay... unless you can get an ungodly amount of stamina.... its a little slow for PvP and not the best specials for PvM but usable...

I concur. It's a little slow for PvM as well, and for an archer with Chiv and/or Bushido, unless you have a massive mana pool coupled with massive mana regen capabilities, you'd run out of mana within the first few shots.

My advice to any archer template that uses mana, whether it be a plain Chiv archer, or an ABC archer, is to use a bow with high DI, high SSI & high Mana Leech, with maybe Stamina Leech, but leave it at that. Invest in Mace & Shield glasses so you have HLD hitting at the same time as any leeches so the leeches will go off every time and not miss one due to another mod going off instead. More Mana = More Damage Over Time. While I do use a regular Bow myself for certain specific situations, my weapon of choice for any of the Peerless or Doom is a Heavy with minimum 30 SSI. Due to the swing speed cap, there is no other bow that can match the damage output of a 30 SSI Heavy Crossbow.

Hi again mr connor. I'm using that juka king thingamingy bow that has reptile slaying on it and I don't seem to have any trouble with mana even though i spam LS. I have only 11 mr, so I was wondering, is mana leech that much of a biggie for a bow?

It really depends on what you're fighting. If you're fighting something you can 1 or 2 shot, then not so much. If you're fighting a paragon Balron, then you're going to spend most of the fight out of mana, which will make it take 3x as long to kill as if you had mana leech. Even Peerless, which can take 10 minutes with a good group, will have you completely out of mana within the first couple of minutes. Your suit actually has a pretty high MR, which is awesome, but even with that in any prolonged fight, you'll find that spamming LS isn't going to be possible, not to mention the Chiv spells.

Try this, take an Undead slayer bow without mana leech and go take on a paragon Lich Lord. Then take a Demon slayer without it and try a paragon Balron. Even a paragon Rotting Corpse would be good for testing. You'll see how fast you run out of mana when you're getting hit for 50ish on a regular basis with poison, curses, and everything else that you'll get pounded with from the higher end stuff added into the mix.
