Thinking of returning...

Hi guys, there is a possibility I will return to UO.

I have had a few year break and played pretty much since launch.

Just a few questions to help out:

1: Is it worth it? I ran around Britain today and saw 1 person!
2: Is there any PvP still? If so, what type of pvp is there?
3: When I left last time, champ spawns had just came in - are these still happening? are they still good for Pvp?
4: If these is PvP, what are the good current builds?
5: Do i still need a shed load to spend on items? Or can I get by with cheaper gear?
6: Any good guilds to recommend? Would like a bit of an intro for a bit but pvp as well.
7: Is this still the place to go for forums?
8: Do I need to buy all of the upgrades? I have some but not all
9: If Europa is dead, are there any other shards people would recommend?
10: Any ways to find old soulstones? I maxed pretty much every skill but think I have lost them

Any help much appreciated, as well as any guild recs. I have all my old chars still but lost orny/HoM etc when house went... boo hiss

I'll try answer what I can, I'm not a PvPer sadly.

1. The new place to hang out is Luna, Any public moongate select Malas then Luna.

3. Champ spawns are still around and have new artifacts, theres also new champion spawns in Tokuno and Ter Mur.

6. I'd recommend SAOR, I'm in it and its one of the largest on Europa (if not the largest) theres plenty of people online and we love helping new and returning players.

7. Yes! As you can see, Forum is still busy.

8. Recently all accounts were upgraded to Mondains Legacy so you will have all the content apart from Stygian Abyss which released last year.

9. I'd say Europa isn't dead.

I just logged in to one of my old accounts and have:

Necro Mage
Ninja Mage
Tamer
T hunter
Archer
Mule with everything at 120 (even mage for some bizarre reason!)

Everything still has the leg scrolls on so most stuff at 115+

How would I go about getting an invite to guild? Do you guys do champ spawns?

Just ordered Star trek to see how it is... May as well try every major MMO between UO/EQ to SW:tOR (which I cannot wait a second longer for!!

If you're looking for a PvP guild; I wouldn't recoment Saor.
No disrespect to Saor, they do a great job at what they do but in felucca no matter how many they are, its just a load cannon fodder

I mean there are 3 active PvP guilds atm.

I don't dabble with the Felucca side of SAOR, However if for Champion Spawns, Peerless etc its a fantastic guild.

Id say we have a small group of good pvpers that do train alot to be better.... and then we have the masses that come along and act cannon fodder... me included Still fun thou
