Ok i been away a fair while but been puttering about for the last 20 mins trying to just find my old account and no luck. Anyone know what happened or how to retrieve an old account?

if you know what your old account name was, when you've created your mythic/EA master account you can try and add it by using youraccountnamehere_uo and using your password to link it.
If you cant remember your password, you can request a password reset.

Your account should still be there, so don`t give up. The account management system went through an overhaul last fall. Just read up on the links provided and ask questions if you are stuck after that. Either here or in Uhall.

okies ive found the page where im to link mythic accounts and its got both my old UO accounts (forgot i had 2 ^_^) but theres no password retrieval option just enter password here. ive tried a load of the ones i used to use but its locked now for 30 mins

interesting.. well ive made up a trial account to wander round for a bit. i do have some nice toons on my old account with the +stat and skill scrolls from donkeys years back. whens the best time to find peeps on? also where do people tend to congregate now?

You will be in Help chat when you come back on a trial account, so you won't be able to hear people talking... they do tend to be in General instead. Luna is where a few hang around but most don't gather anywhere physically now until they need to pass through; the game will look dead but it's really not! I'm not sure as trial account you can board the new High Seas ships, but I'd be glad to take you to see Charybdis at 8 if you can.

how do you recover the password from an unlinked account? It shows up that I can link it to my e-mail but for the life of me I cannot remember the password. It is the last of my accounts that I did not link to my mythic master account. Customer service told me I had to e-mail them to reset it but when I sent them my information, they said that they did not have enough information and did not understand what I was asking.

you go to link the account and enter the account name with _uo at the end then hit forgot password. theres two different pages one lets you select forgot password the other doesnt. so if theres no find password option yer on the wrong page... and dont be a silly like me and remember to put _uo at the end of the account name or youll sit for 20 mins like me trying to figure out why its not recognising your account
