short answer, no. for antiques to be worth anything substantial they have to be really really good. like very heavy on mods and properties lining up right. antiques are almost almost used exclusively for pvp, (otherwise they just wear out very fast) so pvp mods are a must.
they pretty much need very heavy mods, like over 650 imbue wieght, with stuff like casting / dci / hci / and ep (especially if its a ring) to be worth anything over 500k or so.

stuff like mana increase, mana regen, really doesnt add much value because this can easily be obtained from armor pieces.

or: single / usuable very desireable mod
example: clean 10ssi jewel single stat: 50 mil
same thing in antique: 10mil

i keep a file open with this in it when hunting to remind myself what everything is.. it took me a while to find what i needed to know.

The following negative item properties can now be found on magic items:
Brittle – Cannot have powder of fortification applied to the item
Prized – Item insurance cost is increased, cannot be blessed
Massive – Increased strength requirement, indicated in
the strength requirement item property
Unwieldy – Increased item weight, indicated in the weight
item property
Cursed – Cannot be insured or blessed
Antique – Increased durability loss, can be powdered 3 times.
Each powder will reduce max durability to 250, 200, and 150
respectively. Can be repaired.

Items spawned with the brittle property will have a
default max durability of 255.

All items with the ephemeral property will be converted
to antique.

so really only ones worth keeping is ones with no negative property or ones that are prized depending and what mods it has

in most cases, for useable but not amazing stuff. however legendary antique jewels with decent mod groups have been selling on the trade forum for 100 mil and more, but like i said, these are legendaries with very good mod groupings.

Brittle items are good. Brittle items are far more "clean" than the -100 luck items of old IMO. They are essentially the same as max durability imbued items in terms of how you use them.

Antique is fairly useless as they just break on their own.

If one actually maintains their equipment, there is absolutely nothing wrong with antique as long as you don't wear the item into an environment that does additional equipment damage (Grizzle, and other things that drop acid pools). The strange phobia against the item property has no logical basis, unless you're one of the silly types that only repair gear when you start getting the warnings at 0/X durability.
