The unattended macroing accusations are annoying

I'm creating a new template for PvP that uses taming (Just to prove to some of the gimps here who believe its no easier PvP'ing with pets that it indeed is). Working my chars taming and had a talk with a GM for the 4th time today. People are ****ing pathetic.

Seriously, don't bother wasting a GM's time. Get over it, even if they are macroing who gives a ****.

I hate people like that. I've had the same thing happen to me countless times. It's silly and childish really. It effects noone else's gameplay even if i AM macroing unattended.

You should block out the GMs name. they don't like that.

i have asked and wanted to understand the mindset of people who bank sit in tram calling all other non pvpers trammies

why does Fl or the giant PVP guild on any shard not war all other guilds if its just about the PVP well my wife might die or my mule is weak yet they kil any one that moves in fel its some kinda odd double standard

1) You will NEVER find my chars sitting near any bank. I took a trip to Luna to get 110 lore and tame scrolls, and thats about it.

2) I never claim to be "leet", I just play the game to PvP. People who talk excessive **** over the game typically have something lacking in their own lives.

3) I only attack people who are there to PvP. BTW, why the **** would you even bring a new char to the Yew moongate in Fel??

4) Guild warring died with AoS. Nobody will war anyone anymore. When I was the GM of OAK we had 60+ wars, and the equivalent of FL back then was P^H, and they had like 100 wars going

I was not aware that new charactors had a skil cap of 230 that usually takes atleast a few days or couple weeks, also how does ones make 230 stats in a few hours im courious

Just checked my new charactor after him being a week old and he just got teh thanks for being a 6 month player message, so it took atleast a week to get the stat cap

Unless someone has a grudge against you, a GM will only show up to check on you 4+ times in one day if you are demonstrating some unattended characteristics.

I am trying to figure out why you are upset to the point of having to post about it. If you are playing legitimately, why should it bother you if a GM shows up and asks if you are there? They are just doing their jobs, and it takes a few seconds to respond. Your time wasted is minimal compared to those people who are paging on you.

If you don't like being paged on, you could try conversing with the people you encounter... just a couple sentences to show that you are actively at the keyboard. Doesn't hurt to be social since it IS a multiplayer game, after all.

Or if you are complaining of the paging because you are trying to get away with doing some things unattended... that probably won't work either. Letting the pagers know that they are getting under your skin will just encourage them to do it more often.

And as for who gives a *blank* about unattended macroers, a lot of people do. The rules of the game apply equally to everyone, and should be enforced as such. Otherwise, what purpose would the game have?

This is not illegal to do. What would be illegal is if you use a means to make all trees look like tree stumps.

Stats are not that hard to get up. Heres a hint: lock 2 stats set the last to raise once that one is where you want it lock it and set the next to raise. Works best if you have skills that are in need of training givin if your a noob but if your skills are done stone a skill and train a new skill. You can only get stat gains with skill gains so I hear and it seems to be somewhat true seeing as it has worked for me.

If you use a stat scroll it will show your stat cap before you reach it.

As for unattended macroers I dont bother them EA's rule on it to me is one of the worst they have, Its the unattended script farmers that I cant stand. I will never page on someone for macroing unattended if its a skill they are working on.

I think the point was a new character starts with total stat cap of 225. unless he bought a stat scroll of +5 the cap means his character is older than stated.

Or, the first time he logs out, and in again, if the account is older than 6 months, there's the +5 stats.

Also, as has been said, Stats are not really difficult to raise.

Finally, I agree.
The "guilty until proven innocent" idea bugs me.
That I can be training, and someone will come up and say "Hi", or worse, just stand there, waiting for you to justify that you're attended.
People wanting to talk wouldn't be so bad, but when they're just looking for guilt, it makes me twitch.

After awhile it gets old that their are jack <censored> in this game that have nothing better to do than try to get other banned for stuff they are probably doing themselves.

Those that are trying to get away with scripting don't do it in the Jehlom pens. They do it on boats and in houses in excluded locations. Most of the time they do get away with it. They also do it in off peak hours.

Ok. Lets ban everyone that ever ran an unattended macro or for that matter a scripting program attended or used a bannable means to train skills. Are the lot of you that are so concerned about people that unattended macro going to enjoy playing with yourselfs? What will you have to complain about and who will you have to harrass then? Maybe you can start wasting the GMs time because someone just took your hunting spot. It will be ok though because the GMs will have plenty of time seeing there will only be 1000 or so players still playing the game.

Actually that is untrue because if you leave the maxed skill set to raise it will actually give you FAST stat gains. Its a change they made a few publishes back. Its actually easier to raise stats with a maxed skill (mining for example) than it is to raise stats while working the skill.

Haha, thanks for reminding me of the old days. I was one of the core members of Purple Horde back when we WERE at war with the whole server. Those were some damn good times.
