The Ultimate PvM Template? (non Bard/Tamer)

I'm sure it would have Chiv, Bushido, SS and Swords, but what do you think the ultimate PvM template would be?

I roll with a pure bard, it's my fave character by far .

ABC is how I roll. A ton of damage in PvM and if you have your suit and temeplte set up correctly, you can have fun in Fel too.

I'm going with a sampire macer. You get life leech, mana leech and mace weapons drain more stamina then any other weapons. You'll fight a quite a few MOBS with no stamina, (they can't swing very fast) and no mana (they can't cast spells). Plus mace weapons do good damage so your life leeching will keep you pretty well healed up.

110 Magery (someday to be 115)
115 Medititation

I wear 2 different luck suits at all times:

902 luck/decent mana regeneration/100% LRC
1065 luck/no mana regeneration, 86% LRC

I have gotten some GREAT stuff (set items too!) from Miasma, DF, etc.

Perfection gives a good damage bonus, plus chivalry for, enemy of one (a good damage buff) consecrate weapon (does all damage vs opponents weakest resist) & divine fury to replenish your stamina to keep your swing speed maxed. These all work with or stack with Bushido.

You get max HCI with the lightning strike special.

Perfection is another way to regain hit points.

I don't understand how you can finish stuff off with that template. How do you actually create damage on the baddies? Without Eval Int your spells won't do any direct damage. The provo is handy, but you need other monsters nearby. That won't work well for any solo monster work. My understanding is disco makes the enemy weaker, but doesn't actually hurt them. Short of casing EVs, I don't see how you finish anything off while hunting solo.

Yeah, the ABC Archer sounds very powerful. What if you put a small amount of Necro on the template and ran as a Vampire, much like the Sampire? Have you ever tried that?

EVs and Mind Blast. I never planned to do direct damage spells very often with this template. You'd be surprised how well it works...

I *rarely* have to bust out mind blast. Disco shreds monsters stats/skills (whatever) so much that an EV can chew through them without issues. And if one has trouble, pop on two and you are good.

But yes I'll use mind blast occasionaly because it doesn't depend on Eval Int for damage.
