Last year brave citizens tackled 450 fishing nets and a mass of leviathans... This year, Someone new is in our waters...

Osiredon the Scalis Enforcer!

This year, On the 3rd of December at 8pm UK Time the FCB is back with the ULTIMATE net toss! Over 550 nets will be tossed!

The action will take place on the brand new Zento Docks, Three boats have been setup, equipped with the latest cannon technology to help defeat these evil water filled enemies!

We'll be aiming to spawn as many Scallis one at a time as we can, as well as plenty of Leviathans for those rare artifacts!

Bring yourself and plenty of bandages for a night that really is unmissable!

DETAILED INFORMATION

Cannons

We have 9 cannons setup between the three boats and will supply the ammo to fire them, You are welcome to use them as they will be crucial against the Scallis. Remember you need to have High Seas to access the boats and cannons!

It would help if you could bring your own ammo for the cannons if you do plan to use them, As the supplies will likely run out!


Net Tossing

The FCB will begin the toss and continually keep tossing nets, When a Scallis does appear they will stop until it's defeated. You are welcome to bring your own nets and toss them also, You can ONLY toss nets from the South ship, The other two and docks are too close to shore.


Resurrection

We will have a resurrection spot just near the Docks for those who do die during the battle.


Do I need High Seas?

You will need High Seas to access the three red ships, However for those without High Seas you will still be able to access the docks and you can indeed attack the Scallis and any other monster that spawns as well as loot them and receive artifacts!

If you wish, I can bring my Ork ship for the extra cannon damage, to swap out for one of those ships... I hope to be there for this, can we bring our own fabled nets too?

Indeed you can bring your own nets!

I'll have a think about the orc ship, I need to decide where I'm going to store all the nets so I might need extra hold capacity etc, Will get back to you about it! Thanks.

There will need to be some agreement about who throws what when. The idea of multiple Scalis because more than one person threw a fabled net at any given time is scary!

Indeed, Easiest solution to this would be, We'll say when we're out of fabled nets. Then anyone with any of their own fabled nets can throw at the end.

People can of course throw normal nets whenever they wish.

Thanks everyone for coming! It was rather chaotic and I think we all learnt something - Well I did anyway!

We cut the event a little short after 5 Scalis and an hour and a half of fun!

Because I still have 25 fabled nets and 300+ normal nets left over, And because of the demand I will be hosting another toss early January!


What will be better?

Well I've been exploring new Docks and have chosen to return to Bucs Den. Zento Docks although lovely is very difficult to use!

I'm going to supply bags of small ammo instead of providing access to large quanities (Which were stolen today and meant 4 Scalis were spawning with no cannon ammo to use!)

Finally, The way the boats are setup the Scalis will always be within reach of a cannon.

Thank you a lot for organizing! So much work! But there was much fun too.

Since I was using some nets too, i found something very irritating. I had some trouble throwing nets. Most of the times I got the message that a net can only be used at deep water. Funny thing about that message was, that I was able to use a net on a spot when I was at deep water, where I couldnt use it before. (I ended up standing on the southern boat at the southmost side to be able to get the nets spawn within the box of ships.)
